Mind-controlled nanobots could release drugs inside your brain

Well, you can't make this up, folks. Researchers in Isreal have developed a nanobot, controlled by an external source wearing an EEG cap, that can release a determined amount of drugs into a subject. The bot, built out of DNA, responds to an algorithm that has been trained to detect when the brain is resting vs. when it is calculating mathematical formulas. When the DNA bot senses the brain activity, it releases a controlled amount of drugs to specific regions of the body.

Well, frankly, I am a bit unsettled by the implications of this new technology. That an indiscriminite amount of potentially lethal drugs could be released into a person by an outside source is terrifying indeed.

Nanotechnology has a lot of potential, for both benefit and harm.

Agreed. And to think that (according to the article) the usage will be limited to altruistic purposes is absurd.

Now we need nanobots that fight off other unwanted nanobots in our bodies!

I am quite ignorant in the matters of nanotechnology, so I'll put this question out there in hopes that someone more informed can shed some light--

Is it possible to implant the DNA bots without a person knowing? I suppose a doc could do it during a surgery? Does anyone know what the process might be?

We can be decieved into taking it, but not forced! The time is ripe for some heartfelt prayer, though, if you're a believer.

TV Revolution (Nanites)

The pendants and the Tower are no longer significant, with self-willed nanites becoming the major science-fictional element.

i wonder why the series 3 got canned when many people started to wonder, 'what if todays chemtrails contain these nanites that are currently dorment ?'.

Then with the use of GWEN Towers (Ground Wave Emergency Network), everyone will then be asked to accept the Mark of the Beast. If they accept the Mark, their thoughts will be monitored. If they say/think no, then the nanites will naturally explode in their skull.

They always put that spin on articles about emerging tech of the ultra diabolical implication prone varieties.

Using them for medicinal practices good, for assassination, not so good.

The last paragraph of the article (minus the first, revealing sentence) is especially absurd! To think all that time and money spent in order to get that perfect dose of alcohol.. oh, right.
