The Mind and The Heart

Why...why do all these things,
You know exactly what they'll bring.
No plausible deniability, in this reality,
You'll have to take full responsibility,
For your actions against humanity,
You're the reason for this insanity.

Why...why not just stop, let it go,
No reason to continue the show.
You've gotten everything you require,
What more could you possibly desire.
Unless you enjoy the ruse, the facade,
Not caring about the mess you've made.

Genius and insanity go hand and hand,
It is hard for some to separate them.
Hopefully you've not crossed that line,
And still have the faculties of the mind,
Knowing only two thing sets us apart,
From the animals, the mind and the heart.
