I know what they claim to do. I see no evidence however that they actually do any good anywhere. You may want to research just how much that foundation has done for Haiti.

Charity is in the eye of the beholder.

You have to wonder what Assange might have in place if he would come up dead. Maybe a massive leak if he doesn't put in a right password each week.

As of January 1, 2010, the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative, an initiative of the Clinton Foundation, became a separate nonprofit organization called the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI). [2] [24] Organizations such as the Clinton Foundation continue to supply anti-malarial drugs to Africa and other affected areas; according to director Inder Singh, in 2011 more than 12 million individuals will be supplied with subsidized anti-malarial drugs.[25]

CHAI launched the Pediatric and Rural Initiatives in 2005 to focus on bringing AIDS care and treatment to those most often marginalized— children and those living in rural areas. CHAI also negotiated agreements that reduce the prices of second-line drugs and rapid diagnostic tests. In May 2007, CHAI and UNITAID announced agreements that help middle-income and low-income countries save money on second-line drugs. The partnership also reduced the price of a once-daily first-line treatment to less than $1 per day.[26]

In addition to drug access programs, CHAI also focuses on country operations, with programs that help governments with pediatric care and treatment, improving rural health care and human resources for health and the prevention of mother to child transmission (PMTCT). In 2008, approximately 185,000 children benefited from increased access to infant diagnosis aided by the training of 8,500 health care workers who offered pediatric antiretroviral treatment (ART). 2008 also saw six PMTCT country programs launched which ensured that every HIV-positive pregnant woman in the program catchment area was provided with prevention, care and treatment services including counseling, testing and feeding recommendations.[6]

Launched in 2007, CGSGI describes itself as working with local communities, the private sector, governments and other non-governmental organizations to develop models for businesses to spur social and economic development as part of their operations in the developing world. CGSGI says it is focusing on market-driven development that creates jobs and increases incomes, and on enabling factors such as health and education.

That's just part of it... I'm not saying they are perfectly transparent or that they are 100% flawless, but I am saying they have had a direct hand in saving lives and doing "great" and "good" work in the world.

It's so easy to criticize from the comfort of our chairs, and far different to be out in the world trying to make a difference.

Why would the DOJ block the FBI request to investigate the foundation. I'm guessing lots of dirty hands on people on the pay to play. What happened to Obama's Senate seat. I see a pattern.

It's public knowledge the Obama Administration voted and Russia gained the Uranium rights. That's public record.

I think that's the most discouraging part, the media hypocrisy over Hillary / Bill scandals. It's been going on since being governor in Arkansas. If it was a Republican, the media would say things like where there is smoke there is fire. Whitewater was a racket to cheat old people out of their retirement homes and savings. The Arkansas Governor's mansion was turned into a brothel. Both sides need to stop turning a blind eye to all corruption and misuse of public trust.

That means absolutely nothing considering the fraud that has already been discovered. Where are the breakdowns of those contributions. Where are the funds going? When your charity is raising money through the use of political fraud, I am safe in thinking that pulling a fast one over a supposed watchdog organization would be parr for the course.

But on Wednesday, foundation spokesman Craig Minassian said Chelsea Clinton plans to stay on the board. Mr. Clinton told donors he still plans to leave. While the parent Clinton Foundation will stop accepting money from foreign governments and corporations, the foundation’s largest project, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, might continue to accept foreign government and corporate funding, Clinton health initiative officials said Wednesday.
