Cant wait!

I have a high pressure, high reward IT job so its easy to get burned out.
To that end I start a 10 day trip to Yellowstone this coming Sat.
Lots of hikes scheduled, including back country.
Lots of night sky photography planned.

This will be my 5th trip to the Park in the past 12 years and each time it gets better. Can't wait to get there and wish all of you were coming with me since I spend more non-work time on ATS then I do anything else right now.

I went there a few years back in late September and it was with out a doubt the most amazing place I have ever been to! Have fun but be careful!

Are you driving out there and camping out or what? We did just tents and personally I think it was the best way to really see it.

Nice! That's one of the places on the list to see before I die
The view of the night sky has got to be outrageous.

Have tons of fun, enjoy every moment and post lots pics when you get back. Hope to see some of that big beautiful night sky.

I have friends in MT and every time I go visit them we do a day trip to Yellowstone (they live only 2 hours from the north entrance). It's always beautiful and always a great time.

That's Amazing!! Good for you for taking the time to rest from the Daily grind. Word of advise, JUUUUST to be on the safe side. Make sure you are armed with at least a machete, LOTS OF people go missing in National Parks every year, it's just good sense to have some kind of defense being out on remote trails . Have fun be safe!!
