Trump is exactly right with his message toward black folks "WHAT IN THE HELL DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE?" - He is RIGHT. Obama/Hillary have failed the black community over and over again. Especially in the inner cities. Its time for a change and Trump will BRING change. BIG change. If black folks want the status quo and the same ole same ole, then yeah, vote for Hillary. I'm sure Chicagostan will be cleaned up ASAP with Hillary in office........................................

At least with Donald, its something new. When the same ole isn't working, you need to change to something new to at least see if it'll work.

The GOP congress has failed the black community.

We live in at least somewhat of a democracy and the GOP congress will not let democratic ideas get enacted

Yes, yes. yes!
....Such as a bigger stimulus package, Medicare for all was killed by the GOP opposition and all kings of ideas of job creation, infrastructure building for example were killed by the GOP congress not Obama or Hillary

and many other programs that would help poorer Americans of ALL races

Charlotte isn't "overwhelmingly white", not even close. Almost nowhere in the American South is overwhelmingly white, except certain Appalachian regions.

en.m.wikipedia.org...

According to Wiki whites are about 45% of the population in Charlotte.

Obamacare? roflmao. Yeah, super great idea and those poorer Americans can't even afford stuff like that under Obama.

Bad ideas are bad. The GOP knows this.

I like how when Trump makes it 59%, politifact rate it mostly false. But when Sanders makes it %51 percent back in March, politifact rates it "mostly true".

"If you look at Latino kids between 17 and 20 who graduated high school, 36 percent of them are unemployed or underemployed. … African-American kids are unemployed or underemployed to the tune of 51 percent."

-Bernie Sanders

But while Sanders had support for this data when he first began using these numbers eight months ago, there’s reason to believe that the improving job market has lowered these rates, at least somewhat. The statement is accurate but needs clarification or additional information, so we rate it Mostly True.

The reason Obamacare is so bad is because the GOP wouldn’t allow for a more comprehensive and viable plan

The GOP is the reason for the bad parts of Obamacare

They all voted against the very concept of national health insurance for the poor and did everything in their power to block it

They didn’t assist to even try to make it better

I don't know where the # this guy finds his stats...
But he needs to fire his statisticians pronto.

This isn't the first time he has misled people on the numbers.

Sometimes I wonder if he is just trolling everyone.
Which would be the most wonderous troll in history.

Then I just revert back to thinking he really is a buffoon.

You know...like, maybe providing an example...even just one might make your post sound like more than a hater attacking a person they don't like? Just a thought.

Sorry Will, but the Democrats own 100% of Obamacare. Not a single republican voted for it. You controlled both houses and the Presidency. It could have been designed anyway you guys wanted.

Of course not a single Republican voted for it once Obama took it on. Obama could have introduced legislation that would have provided a cure for cancer and no Republican would have voted for it. You do remember the Republican strategy at that time, don't you? Make Obama a one-term president no matter how you have to do it or who you screw in the process.

And you don't think the Democrats didn't want Bush to be a one term President?

The point is that Obamacare is entirely a Democrat construct. YOU OWN IT and ITS FAILURES. PERIOD. You could have passed any healthcare program desired and didn't. You cannot blame Republicans for this one.

You can't argue that Republicans wouldn't vote for it as you didn't need their votes to pass it.

OK..I've spoken to some African Americans and have narrowed down why so many will vote for Hillary...IF they vote on that day.

It's a combination of "Stockholm Syndrome" and "Fear".

Even though their quality of life is lower than it was when Obama became President, they've been brain-washed by Democrat promises. They feel that the party cares about them, even though their quality-of-life results clearly indicate otherwise.

Compounding the Stockholm Syndrome is FEAR of taking a chance with a business specialist, like Donald Trump. Most African Americans watch CNN, which is a HUGE reason WHY they believe, WHAT they believe about him.

Unfortunately this FEAR of taking chances goes beyond politics, and is a big reason for the overall standard of living reduction that many Black Americans are bringing on themselves. (But that could be a thread in and of itself for another forum.)

THANK-GOODNESS the African American/Black voters of FLORIDA are LISTENING and COMPREHENDING what Donald Trump (and their good common sense) is telling them. He's now up to a 20% approval rating in the Florida A.A. community..and still climbing.

Source: www.wnd.com...

Now, if the "Rust Belt" African Americans (Chicago/Cleveland/Detroit/Philadelphia, etc.) will take off the mental chains and shackles long enough, they'll see the same thing that the Floridians are figuring out.

Bravo Florida!

Although I am sure you will not do the work, I will show you HOW to do the work if you are not lazy (pardon, but I am not an entitlement kinda person):

Numbers
www.bjs.gov.../arrests/index.cfm#

Voting demographics (percentages)
www.electproject.org...

There are tons of places to get the specifics however, knowing someone would challenge, I sought the best irrefutable numbers I could find.

Anyway... 13% irrespective of the felon count, still does not make a SUPER AWESOME voting block; just saying....

...dont let the big scary numbers hurt your head....

Contrary to your belief, black people have accomplished much be it under the policies of either democrat or republican.

They have been voting democrat for 60 years or so and STILL HAVE GOTTEN NO WHERE.

Compared to 60 years ago, remarkable progress has been made. Some areas lag behind others but to make a blanket statement like that is ignorance at it's peak. Have you talked to black people from 50-60 years ago and asked them what life was like? I have, so before I make a statement that you have, i try not to rely on antidotes and Donald Trump talking points.
