Dixie Deadzone Diners

This is the strangest thing i`ve ever seen, at first i didn`t think it was real but after looking at the web page It seems to be legit.

Opening in L.A. August 26th-28th. Welcome to Dixie Deadzone Diners, pop-up restaurants in places with no cell signal. So you can disconnect to reconnect with loved ones over a free meal.

It seems to be an advertising gimmick for Dixie products (yeah the dixie cup folks) it`s the most elaborate and unique advertising gimmick i`ve ever seen.

Saw the ads on the web, but didn't know you got free food?
Thought it was just an anti-tech gimmick ?

I Will have to read into this. I love the idea. I hate "smartphones" and feel they have really been a huge problem in society, and have helped to not only disconnect us from each other, but to also make us forget basic manners. The irony I am typing this on a smartphone at work.
