Liberal here.

Not enraged.

So maybe you're one of the many people that prefer the Democrat policies that keep the poverty and crime areas right where they're at, and continue to get worse.

Or, possibly, I disagree with his assessment.

And that's ok, I am perfectly fine with disagreements. Disagreements just don't enrage me.

The last two R offerings for President were afraid to speak the truth. Trump does not appear afraid of the facts. He is just so gung ho to do something positive, IMHO, that his mouth has been overloading his brain. His duty is to share the facts that expose the opponents for what they are and one of them is a freakin criminal. If he can stay on the facts that are there for all see such as the lies about the TOP secret docs and Clinton foundation, people will come around to deciding if they want to continue being led by corruption.

Every 4 years, all politicians promise cures for all the societal ills.

Every 4 years.

Nothing ever gets done, nothing is ever solved.

How long have politicians been fighting "the war on poverty"?

So damn true, quoted for truth. It's funny Trump supporters really think Trump will Make America Great Again. I almost want him to win just so he can let all of them down because he's all talk, no walk.

But that's not the point of this thread. No, the point is not so much about Trump but an excuse for ATS conservatives to attack liberals.

Let them have their fun Swills. Imagination time allows for Conservatives to Pretend how great them and their Cult Leader Trump are in the Land of Make Believe.

After all, it must be difficult for them to come to terms with all the lies and deception and propaganda they've been peddling for so many years and how it's skewed their minds into what we see today.

Reality must seem very scary for them and make believe allows them to escape to somewhere where things make sense to them. Don't be too hard on them for it. They're damaged and trying to heal that's all.

So black people that vote overwhelmingly Democrat are bigoted?

Maybe they realize it's not that Democrats think they're unable to cut it, it's that they realize starting from poverty as many do means it's much harder to get ahead, so you have to be that much better than a middle class white person in order to achieve the same result. Coming up with ideas like free university tuition isn't being discriminatory towards black people, it's enabling them to achieve.

Bigotry is when you can't acknowledge instances of institutional racism or classicism and try to correct it. There's an argument to be made that some welfare structures end up causing stagnation. It doesn't mean you throw people to the wolves.

EPS requires tons of background checks and licensure.

Just this year alone I went though 3 back ground checks. First was for a Glock 26 Gen 4. The second was for my NV PILB work card that allows me to work EPS in the state of Nevada. 3rd was my CCW background check.

A regular citizen will go through two of those just for obtaining and licensing to carry a gun.

People like me who are in protective services tend to go through much more that, in my honest opinion, would just price poor people out of effective self defense.

Which is what most of these laws do anyway.

one thing about trump, he will point out the elephant in the room that everyone else is avoiding talking about, and he will say loud and clear " the emperor has no clothes!"

Poor people can always just by a gun illegally if they want one bad enough and save a little money that way.

It's not hard to find a gun. Many people just don't figure on ever needing one so they don't buy one.

I think in the USA the progressivist Left is always running around enraged or in a state of 'outrage'. I do not think they have anything else in their playbook. And that playbook is almost entirely cobbled together by Saul Alinsky and his little luciferian bible for radicals.

Poor is not synonymous with criminal. You'll find most poor people are as averse to committing serious crimes that could end with them dead or in jail as anyone else. There is no excuse to force law abiding people into the underground for the sake of their individual right to self defense with a firearm.

Left-leaning gun-toting moderate, here. Not even an iota of bothered, much less rage.

*yawn*

That quote is pretty ho-hum compared to some of the really outrageous things he tends to spew when not sticking to his script.

Just to be clear, you just wished that about half of the ATS membership kill themselves.

And also to be clear, your expressed desire for so many to die earned nearly as many stars as the OP.

The membership here just keeps getting classier every day.

Why not?

When I vote against Hillary, if she becomes president I'll spend the next four years being called misogynist every time I disagree with something she does just like I was called racist when I did it with Obama, at least then I was white, but when it happens with Hillary, I'll be a woman this time around. Too bad I am already wise to the tactic. Otherwise, it might open some eyes. Nope. This time, I'll just expect it from the intellectually bankrupt.

That's not what I was implying. I know poor people aren't more inclined to commit crime.

I was just saying, getting a gun isn't difficult at all illegally, or getting one without being registered or checked first.

They are literally everywhere and very easy to come buy. All it really takes is the desire to get one and you can get one.

Is Trump still talking about Cruz's father being part of the JFK assassination? I can't believe he got this far and I can't believe anybody still supports him. I watched some of the speech last night, but do you really think Trump is different? He's the same guy thinks the National Enquirer is newsworthy and it's ok to talk out of his ***. Trump can't use a pencil sharpener without extreme effort, do you really think he's ready to become president? Is this the person we want respresenting us, a dumb fool who can't see past his nose? I'm sorry, I can't stoop that low! He's clueless and self-obsessed and--you guessed it--unqualified. And you know what else? He's actually an independent politically. I don't think he belongs anywhere. He's his own party. So the sheep voting for him will eventually figure it out after he throws them to the fire. YOu're another dingbat pulled into a bad deal with Trump. That's his "billions".

The "Take Your Guns" is a metaphor amplified by the anti-gun crowd as a deflection.

If they weren't busy exalting policies from other nations that are confiscatory and anti constitutional no one would make that accusation.

What hot zone? If you're talking about his speech in Milwaukee that was in an all white suburb forty miles outside the city.
