Some Woman Called Ellen DeGeneres. What's Going On Here Then ?

Just saw this article on The BBC Website. A woman named Ellen DeGeneres it seems has caused some controversy over a photo shoppped photograph of her riding on the back of Olympic gold medalist sptinter Usain Bolt with a caption which says " This is how i am running errands from now on "

To me this is just a bit of fun and completely harmless. However it would seem that some find it racially offensive. Bloody strange world we live in if people can find offence with this type of banter.

a meme, which is hilarious, among other funny memes created during the Olympics, can have this affect on people's mentality.

thats the frailty of multiculturalism, any and everything is offensive to someone, somewhere.

She's an actress and comedian and has a daytime television show "Ellen," Her comments and caption of the photo is no racist or anything else. Just another thing for people to cry about, as if they don't have enough reasons already.

I'm just happy that you don't know who she is.

She is basically the gay Opera Winfrey . Tv personality... Was probably once an actor /comedian... Now she has a talk show . I have no real problem with her more than I do Opera, Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz... All those lame daytime tv personalities.


I did see that she is taking some flack for this . And basically she responded with " yea I know all about inequality"

I would assume she is quite left leaning and i find ot funny that a champion for gay rights is catching flack for being offensive.
Maybe that's worded wrong but its intersting to see such a PC spokesperson get attacked for basically nothing..

There are reasons why certain people 'don't get' her humor.
