Muslim gangs attack beach goers in Corsica, France

Muslims and beach goers got into a major riot on Saturday at the beach when some began throwing rocks at a naked woman bathing. After some people took some pictures of the event, the Muslims became enraged and began beating on some local teenagers. From there it just escalated into a full blown riot. The towns people were assaulted with harpoons, axes and machetes carried in by the muslims. (who brings weapons to the beach?). Following were over turned and torched cars in retaliation. But it doesn't end there! The townspeople gathered and stormed the ghetto Muslim neighborhood to seek revenge while local police tried to keep calm and order. It's getting to its boiling point people. I think it's only a matter of time before French town's people grab their pitchforks and bring their own "calm" and order.

On Sunday August 14, 2016, Bernard Cazeneuve, French Interior Minister, issued the following statement after a violent clash between locals and Muslim immigrants on the island of Corsica: "A violent confrontation, the circumstances and motives of which will be determined by a police investigation, erupted on Saturday evening in Sisco, Upper Corsica, between local residents and a group of around ten out-of-towners. The four people injured, including a pregnant woman, were evacuated to the hospital in Bastia. Their injuries are not life-threatening. Three vehicles were set on fire causing major disruption of traffic and a brush fire was rapidly brought under control." According to eyewitness accounts reported in the French media, on the evening of Saturday, August 13, a group of young Corsicans waged a battle with a group of Muslims at a beach next to Sisco. The fight broke out after women wearing burkinis were photographed by a tourist, provoking the Muslims to retaliate with insults and cries of " Allah Akbar." They then began throwing stones at the tourists and a group of Corsican teenagers further along the beach. The Muslim men, aged around 40, then began to hit the teenagers, one of whom was wounded by a blow from a machete.

Not that it makes any difference, but the way I heard it, the riot started after tourists were taking pictures of a Muslim woman in a "burkini".

They are a tough bunch in Corsica.

They won't put up with that BS.

in the video, a woman give a statement to the crowd what happened. She said the woman was taking pictures and was insulted. Doesn't matter what she was taking pictures of. Who brings harpoons and machetes to the beach?

Yes it was. Taking pictures at the beach doesn't cause riots. But throwing stones at a woman does. Are you defending this? Sounds like it.

Anyone can take pictures in a public place that is our freedom after all, being hacked with a f#cking machete by these assholes is a totally different proposition..

I didn't know "burkini", so here is one. Is it just me, or does it look attractive? I don't see the French making fun of this at all.

Good. And I'd like to see more of it. I'm sorry, but it's time to put these Neanderthals back in their caves. They go in to a town or country and try to force their beliefs on everyone by fear or violence. It's way past time it backfired on them.

I didn't see any footage of anything anybody did on some beach. For all I know it was an incident perped by right wing thugs to start a riot. Which they incite with a bullhorn to gathering of other thugs to march down there and 'get some!'

Seriously. And by the video in France when the riot police arrive with their shields apparently the citizens can just walk into them and the police actually back up and get out of the way? Here that would bring out the beatings.

I also did not know what a burkini was so thanks for bringing that here. Last week i was at a water park and I saw a couple Muslim women toting their children around. It was about 95 degrees F with a heat index of 110 and they had black burqas on. I remember seeing them and feeling bad for how utterly hot and uncomfortable they must be in those things. Next thing you know 20 minutes later and those same women were next to me going down a waterslide in which you race 5 other people stomach down on a mat to the bottom. Wearing their burqas, pants and everything heh another say whaaat moment.

Good on them i thought.

It started because people were taking pictures of muslim women in burkini's, they were asked to stop taking pictures. They refused and that's were the tension started to rise.

Then why were the Muslims armed with weapons? Looking for any reason to start attacking. Taking a picture of a burkini isn't reason enough to start a riot.

Europe is a boiling pot, and as someone that has come from a area that was enriched with mass Muslim Migration I can tell you it is not pleasant...

According to your link many French towns are banning the burkini. I don't get it. It's the most attractive thing I've seen the women wear. It looks like a colorful wet suit.
