1987 years "Christianity" - and where is the Kingdom of God that Jesus preached? Instead, bloodshed of Christians in the first 3 centuries, followed by bloodshed of heretics, and of peoples who did not accept the new religion. Then followed by religious wars inside the Christendom. Finally, the civilized nations of 20th century with already built up cultural heritage upon the foundation of Christianity, started the two bloodiest wars after the Flood, one after another in less than 30 years. Some estimations say 100 mln people died only in 20th century.
That is followed by unprecedented population boom along with starvation and disease in the Third World. Today we don't have the means or the political will to feed those billions, and now they flood the once Christendom as migrants. The once Christian nations should decide between being merciful towards the newcomers who share other religion and cultural values, and being merciful towards their own children and elderly. The Churches are completely hopeless and irrelevant in that situation, not knowing what to speak anymore besides well known parables of the Gospel.
Is that what the mission of Jesus was all about? Is that what the nearly 2000 years Christian faith was all about? Where is the fruit of that faith in those 20 centuries? How is it it is not seen because of the sinfulness of man? How is it that Jesus didn't repair that sinfulness, as we were told he did with his life, death and resurrection?
Or is it that the Gospels are grossly misinterpreted, and even grossly rewritten one-two centuries after Jesus? Why is it that half of the books or more were banned as heretical in the dawn of Christian establishment? Another portion was never known until recently. Those books speak differently of Jesus Christ. May be the single biggest issue not spoken of in the canonical gospels, is his marriage to Mary Magdalene. He had children, therefore descendants. If that is missing from the canonical gospels, how could we say Jesus married the Church? And how many more things are omitted along with his marriage?
Something is grossly wrong, if we can't get any closer to the Kingdom of God preached by Jesus and saved in the canonical books. And the wrong part is not on the side of the common people, usually poor, who honestly believed in a merciful and loving son of God who forgave their human trespasses. The lists of sins of middle ages are just too long for ordinary people who didn't even read the books at that time. Today it is absurd to blame the young and old that they didn't understand and didn't fulfill the commandments, when they have sex for example. And to seek newer and newer martyrs to appear in order to justify already failed doctrine.
The sooner the real life of Jesus come to the surface, the better for all. Let start it all over, for th ebenefit of 2.5 bln Christians, and also of the rest of humanity who suffered enough from the actions of christians in the past. Time for change!
Or time to say good bye to humanity that put egoism before any morality and even before God.
The years are not 2000. There is 4 year difference in the birth date of Jesus, that is 4 BC (or as far as 7 BC). Thus Jesus should have died and resurrected around 29 AD and not 33 AD. That makes about 1987 years later to reach to 2016.
It is a gross failure! Enough is enough! The talks of an antichrist to absolve of christian own trespasses are even worse. Along with expectations of dramatic mass sacrifice after the example of Jesus. Jesus never ever taught that. He died instead of us so we can live, he didn't come so all of us die for him!
Offer something better, or go irrelevant in history, you false prophets! Your time is gone!

Or time to say good bye to humanity...
You answered your own question...it's time to say good bye to organized religion.
Fables and fallacies have no place amongst humanity.
What does have a place though - 18 year old Scotch.
21 year Balvenie. Breakfast of champions.

Lu 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

started the two bloodiest wars after the Flood,
Once again a Christian retort and replies by people who do not believe in God or that God is powerful enough to preserve his words to every generation forever Psalm 12:6, 7.
Which points to Jesus Christ soon return

Well..
To me the problem of egoism is more humanity putting their God before any morality, than the other way around.

Well, if they had stayed with the teachings of Jesus and told Paul to bug off, it would have gone better for women and children over the centuries. I don't care if religion is here or not. I care that they stay out of my personal business and making laws their way.
