Only reason Phillipines isn't as affected as Hawaii or North American continent is because of Japan WW2. It was also too far out of reach. Phillies was this close to become a US state. Knowing US they cannot do this, just yet because of UN and Asia needs to go. Russia is no longer playing their game since the 8 nation alliance against China in the past. The Bear is not willing to waste men power on China or India. It has figured out its mistake since WW1-WW2.

Hah, no. You do not understand the Chinese race. Hong Kong was less effected than every other country under British for a few reasons. Chinese were very innovated. Not everything was invented by the British. HK took some ideals and change to suit them. British stole most of the ideals. They things only they haven't taken is Eastern philosophy and medicine idea.

Where ever the Chinese goes they make the country look good. Just look at all the China towns. The British doesn't want to waste man power on the whole of China. They knew it was too big. By the time British colonize Hong Kong. Chinese people got lucky. There are too many Europeans countries competing including Japan(thanks to modernization by US). They are strong enough to turn British colonies into a disaster on the Far East. Britain had to play nice against China a few times to get Chinese to side on them. Unlike what happened to India where they conquer it whole. This is how they did it with North American Natives. Try to side with some group to fight other groups for you.

Also US was bothering Britain too much back then. US today is not like the US in past. They are not longer nice and respect other nations. US government had been taken over by infiltration if you haven't noticed yet. All the groups and shhs had already been leaked on the internet. Also the Chinese race was not seen as a lesser race back then compare to any black race and natives.

Filipino would have got it worst either way because they aren't as developed as China technologically and politically. They would be treated the same as North American Natives being all low tech. If they are willing to do an alliance against China, what makes you think they won't against Philippines?
