We weren't born to follow

Walking down the street today,
I saw a guy who smiled at me.
Shining diamonds,
Like the Sun.

I smiled back and said hello,
Instant attraction, faster than lightening;
Undeniably mystical, like a movie
Incredibly frightening.

He handed me a bible,
As i stared in horror,
From cover to cover.
It said God's a Mormon.

Tried and true
I handed it back,
Then looked at him
Smiling bright.

I don't need this nor do you,
Look inside you'll find your truth.
Then with a wink i walked away,
And left him there to question his routh.

Well I'm sold.

If Bon Jovi hates Mormons, I guess I should too.
