based on the dirt we've already seen in the hacked DNC emails, it's easy to believe that they will be a lot of illegal rigging going on.

The Dems would NEVER cheat on an election.

Let me ask you a question. Why do you assume Republicans aren't cheating? Assuming both sides are roughly equal in terms of capabilities, doesn't it make sense that each side is cheating in certain elections to push the results the way they want? Rep's cheat in 1 district/state, Dem's cheat in another. And they just trade, making everything come down to a handful of districts that each can focus on.

They already do this in public with gerrymandering. Why do you think it's not the case behind the scenes as well?

One hint that makes me think the Republicans are not cheating in the public elections is - Trump won.
I think they would have stopped that if they could.

I don't, however, put it past the powerful elites to try to get their own way in other ways.
I think some of them tried to make deals for the unbound delegates in the primaries, but luckily Trump's vote count was strong enough to get enough bound delegates and to sway most unbound that they had better go with the will of the people.
But that tactic won't work in the general elections.
And the powerful elites are not on Trump's side anyway.

So, I guess we go with Trump's plan.
We watch this election closely to make sure that the people have a say and that their votes count.
Why would anyone be against that?

If there is election tampering, it won't be found by watching people vote, if that is what an election observer does.

But since Trump often claims he is the only one who knows anything or the most about many subjects, I suppose that is how to stop any fraud.

He said he wants the military to use papers in envelopes carried by couriers instead of email or electronic so he may be on to something.

Secretly i hope you get your diaper wearing beloved one, I don't even live in the United States of freedom so it won't affect me one bit.

I'm not a Hillary supporter.

You're right about me needing the tissues, I'll need them to wipe the tears of laughter while im shouting i told you so and watching the devastation she causes.

Many here seem to complain that the vote hasn't even started and people are complaining about the possibility of rigging...
Well one back them, they complain about Trump, but he has done nothing yet to complain about. Hillary on the other hand has a huge track record of failing throughout her political career. We also have a resent "fixing" with old Bernie getting it good, "possibility"? Probability seems more like the right word.

Just like Benghazi. Just like the email issue. The Right Wing is creating a conspiracy before the "conclusion" in order to justify their "loss". They are claiming the system is rigged and Hillary will corrupt the system, but the thought never crosses their mind that they just might be wrong, or lack the support.

Let's also not forget that no corruption has been found. No fraud whatsoever.

This is called finding a solution for a problem that doesn't exist preparing your self to play the victim.

Just as i predicted in the Title thread..... Snowflakes gonna snowflake....

The ones crying are trump fans, so that would make you the snowflake.

Cheating in a primary is different from cheating in a general. A whole different set of logic comes into play, for example cheating in the primary does you little good because even if the party doesn't like it, Trump is the person whose bringing people in to vote. Sidelining him doesn't help you, even if you don't like him.

The primary is a group of allies competing for leadership, the general is a group of enemies competing for leadership. Also, that's still not confirmation they didn't cheat. What if the group that has the ability to rig the vote was the group in Trumps camp from day 1?

I was on the boards during the Bush/Gore fiasco. I know there were some indictments involving Diebold. Mostly slaps on wrist.

Hate is a strong word. I do not hate him and I do not know him personally. I dislike the ideas he has and the things he says.

Also, I "interject" because I can. Free speech is glorious, isn't it?

I urge that you read up this multi-part series, Fraction Magic (Part-1 here) It tells about a vote-counting system called GEMS.

“Our testing [of GEMS] shows that one vote can be counted 25 times, another only one one-thousandth of a time, effectively converting some votes to zero.

“This report summarizes the results of our review of the GEMS election management system, which counts approximately 25 percent of all votes in the United States. The results of this study demonstrate that a fractional vote feature is embedded in each GEMS application which can be used to invisibly, yet radically, alter election outcomes by pre-setting desired vote percentages to redistribute votes. This tampering is not visible to election observers, even if they are standing in the room and watching the computer. Use of the decimalized vote feature is unlikely to be detected by auditing or canvass procedures, and can be applied across large jurisdictions in less than 60 seconds.”

“GEMS vote-counting systems are and have been operated under five trade names: Global Election Systems, Diebold Election Systems, Premier Election Systems, Dominion Voting Systems, and Election Systems & Software, in addition to a number of private regional subcontractors. At the time of this writing, this system is used statewide in Alaska, Connecticut, Georgia, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Utah and Vermont, and for counties in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming. It is also used in Canada.”

“Instead of ‘1’ the vote is allowed to be 1/2, or 1+7/8, or any other value that is not a whole number.”

Yes, even with that in mind election fraud is very rare.

As long as technology people are not allowed to audit election software, the whole argument is useless. Allowing numerous businesses to make profits of elections and hide the details of the workings seems quite naive.

This is total bunk. Only 4 states required Voter ID in 2012. Obama did not win 46 states. And the rest is bunk as well. I guess bothering to look into the facts would be much harder than just posting a picture and taking as gospel.

As for the OP I do not think anybody would care if even more election observers were added. I guess Trump does not know his campaign and the GOP will already lawyers on hand battle ground areas along with both partisan and non partisan groups. plus federal, state and local observer as well as international election observers that people seem to forget about.

Not that it matters even with all people just made stuff up to try and explain the last election and they will do so again in this one.

Hillary got a few hole too...big ones...lol

I think the problem is just the who political correctness. Hillary got a whole army of writers to make sure she says everything just right where Trump does give a Sh it. Today every word can generate a Gasp from the political correct crowed and to me it is sad that we got to this point.
