I was told very recently the different stages of awakening, its a strange thing.. There is many things i wish to say, but i cant, because there is not room for misstakes..
Awakening will not happen to everyone, the majority will never awaken.. Its not a good thing, but it is not bad either..
To make it simple its a war inside of you, with no real winners... Its about you and you only, its about looking yourself in the mirror and see who you really are, its not about a journey or spiritual enlightenment.. Well for me it wasnt..
But everyone in my family fought this war, and we were raised to be prepared since we were kids to take the bull by the horns when he comes charging, cause he will come charging.. Its a curse in my blood..

And to quote from Rocky;" “It's not how many times you get knocked down that count, it's how many times you get back up. ”

I cant give any advice, cause awakening means.. Mind, body and soul needs to be one.. Its not about what you think, its about what you do..

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life.

“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.

“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”

He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

Read this many times but really need to keep it upmost in my mind.

OP...I too have struggled with facing myself and exposing myself for who and what I am. Good and bad. It was much harder, due to parental programing to admit the good. But facing the bad takes courage and much objectivity without interference of Ego.

Good Post.
