Will polls give Hillary what she needs for the debates?

For the debates Hillary will not want to be front and center so I started to think about how she could possibly 'fix' her situation. The more I have watched the manipulation of the polls it hit me. She does not have to debate Donald Trump...but Johnson can.

link

It seems that they are already planning it in the article above. Johnson already called Trump a pussy in an interview so obviously he should not be scared to take him on up on the big stage. Can we all not see it now in our heads? Hillary Clinton on stage watching two guys go at it while she sits there with her chesire grin letting it all happen. She can deflect as she is so well known for and allow them to argue and after the debate her team can pick them apart.

Look at current polling and he is at an average of 8-9% but some polls will have him at the magic 15%.

Link

IN November the rules were clarified...

www.politico.com...

They tried again and a Federal Judge shot it down...he must be conservative.

Link

That fix is in folks. If Johnson makes it to the debates it is not because of the voice of the people. It is because of the corruption of Washington. I know that line right there may upset some independent leaning folks but it is the truth.

Great post. Now that you mention it, I'm sure that's probably the plan.

Since it's the plan, Johnson will be at 15% - just watch.

I wish Pat Caddell would go on the MSM and issue warnings instead of post mortems.

There is no way Donald is going to debate Clinton. He will play around with how the moderators are unfair perhaps they will be Mexican who knows. Perhaps they will be someone trump thinks doesnt like him. They couldn't possibly be fair. Or the location will be wrong. He's already complained about the dates.
His numbers dropped after every debate he participated in during the primaries. He's already ten points behind her in the polls . He can't afford the drop that will occur if he gets on stage with Hillary.

All she needs is for trump to show up, thats about it, he changed is mind on debating sanders and is already making excuses even before the debates have started, thats about it.

Well unless reality is not your thing, then she needs, a couple of greys, a death ray gun, some sharp cheddar pop corn and some sweet tea from mars, dammit i nearly forgot she needs blood from aborted babies and guns taken from cold dead hands.

Hey Silly, we need your independent expertise on the most recent leak, that your cult leader killed yet another man...

Honestly, I doubt Trump will waste his time on Johnson, because there's honestly no reason to debate anything with that guy. He will go after Hillary, and will destroy her once and for all.

He is hard to beat in a debate. He didn't lose any of them except for the one he decided not to attend. He was going up against some of the best as well. He is a master at getting in these one line zingers which is all people remember the next day. Most of them he makes up on the spot so his opponents have no ability to prepare for it and don't have his wit.

Wit is very powerful in a debate. Probably the best skill to have. Hillary has zero other than what her writers give her to memorize.

He may have no choice but to debate Johnson, depending on Hillary's bathroom break schedule.

There is a very nice little comment and associated data 2/3rds the way through your 2nd link.

The last time both candidates were as UNPOPULAR as Hills and Trump was before some ATS members were born!!

This unpopularity may very well indeed drive potential voters to look elsewhere for an alternative to Hills and the Trumpet - this bodes well with your theory that if the MSM push the Trumpet vs 3rd party narrative whilst shielding Hills and simultaneously start firing up social media frenzies zoning-in on just the 2, it might just work because the concentration and attention span and memory capacity of many potential voters is limited to 'minutes' and 'hours' and 'days'.....anything past a month and it's forgotten or mandela effect.

Gary Johnson would put the bloviated playground bully Donald in his place.

"Now now, Don Don, we aren't poop-slingers. We're adults who communicate and offer discourse."

Unfortunately, most Americans would rather watch The Apprentince 2.0 than anything of actual substance.

They better be careful bumping her too much in the polls. If she is too high people will believe she has it in the bag and won't show up.

That happened in the recent mayor election in my town. The one that was up 10 plus lost. They thought he had it so they stayed home. Willing to bet the numbers will be much closer before the election to motivate people to go out even if she is up by that much.

Polls aren't going to give her what she really needs... Brain Surgery, possibly even Brain Implants; to retire. To push on with her rapid cognitive health decline situation is an insane example of personal ambition, and a grand example of mass scale insanity in the population.

Just the prescribed drugs she must be on alone might ought to force retirement from aspirations of POTUS.

Following Nanny State logic, War On Drugs logic, her ambition at this point is a serious risk to her health (and everyones elses) and therefore she must be stopped, even imprisoned if that's what it takes to stop her from pushing on with her addiction (power).

It's not wit Donald has so much as a complete disregard for convention, truth and common courtesy. He's that perfect playground bully he's often called and Johnson is right, one punch and he'd go down like a lead balloon. He's an uneducated coward, just like the Biff character that was patterned after him.

Hillary (who I wouldn't vote for, for a LOT of money) has at her disposal several decades' worth of security briefings that the Donald doesn't; while she's a fatally flawed candidate, she can sound experienced and knowledgeable and compared to the Donald's bloviating and outright lies, that can 'win' a debate according to all but the most juvenile of listeners who think it's a wrestling match on the playground rather than a display of who brings some knowledge and maturity to the job they're aiming for.

Johnson brings an interesting choice to the stage - notice that video of him where he calls Trump a pussy. He's not mean, he's good natured, and he's right. Trump is a walking heart attack, Hillary is a physical and emotional wreck, and Johnson is not only a respected ex-two term governor, he's an extreme athlete. Neither Trump nor Hillary is likely to live another four years, which means we'd get their puppet VP to deal with. How many of you love Pence or Kaine? If they're willing to stand by either Trump or Hillary and smile blandly whilst ignoring the crap that comes out of their mouths, then they're too craven to take on the real job.

Johnson was right four years ago and more about marijuana legalization. Back then he was laughed at as 'the pot candidate'; now he's been proven prescient as more and more states legalize it and realize there's tax money to be gained and useless drug wars to be eliminated. He was well respected in New Mexico during his tenure there, and so was his VP Weld in his home state. They both have crossover appeal to Bern'ed voters as well as disgusted Republicans.

As more comes out making both Hill and Trump look like the moronic corrupt candidates they so obviously are, the way opens up for the adults who aren't decrepit souless shells.

Would any of you Trump or Hillary supporters want to live next door to either of them? Really???? Because from where I sit, they both make me want to gag and take up arms.

Come find me the next time Johnson decides to physically mock those with disabilities.

Johnson called him a pussy.

Oh noes! The horrors! The words hurt so, so bad!

Get on with the feigned outrage.

He was acting childish and himself, like a pussy, to make empty threats to the press.

He did not even hit 1% on 2012. He ran as a Republican to win the governors seat and now he is Libertarian since he cannot move up in the GOP.

He can go back to sitting as CEO of his Medical Marijuana company.

Bullies actually start #. That's not what Trump does. Everyone he goes after went after him first, including the disabled fraud reporter who deserved it. I'm disabled and I would make fun of that reporter in his face and mock him for being a coward and a liar. And disabled people make fun of themselves all the time just like blacks calling each other 'n-word's. Who cares. The main point is don't start # if you are a pussy because some people will call you out and hit back twice as hard like Trump. If you don't like it keep your mouth shut and he will leave you alone.

He lost in every debate. His numbers dropped after every one.
Apparently bullying and name calling without offering any real content on issues was only considered a win with a certain crowd.
The rest of us wished John kasich was doing better....

That's what people mean when they say he has thin skin.

It's equivalent to a child screaming He started it after the bully has given a kid a bloody nose.

He's going to have to be able to take criticism much harsher than anything he's heard up til now. He going to have to let a lot of crap roll off. He can't retaliate every perceived slight when he's leader of the free world.
Every insult can't result in him rolling up his sleeves as if he's in it for the long haul.

He had to be dragged away from the Khan family issue because he just couldn't let it go.

In the debates (which I watched most of them. Both sides.) He gave simply answers and used simple words. He diverted with dirt instead of offering any solutions. His vocabulary has been estimated at a fourth grade level.

He will not fair well in a contest against Clinton. Her life experiences have given her a deep well of information to draw from.

What the hell are you talking about? You like the MSM. You think you can just say something and it is true.

Lost the debates?
Numbers dropped?

He is not a bully. He fights back..big difference.

Yeah, lets elect someone else who will not roll up there sleeves and take on any issues! The first debate may have Hillary stroke out. She cannot hold a rally without screwing up words.etc but no one talks about it. It is just Hillary...isn't she cute....she said Bill instead of Donald as far as who she is running against...how in the hell can you forget who you are running for. Scary. Very scary.
