an expert claimed that there was no evidence of tampering with regards to the video so,

What is the "experts" name?
What makes them a "expert"?
Who declared that they were a "expert"?

I don't know.

I believe but IMO miracles meant to bring people to faith should not be nightmare fuel. If those are indeed the eyes of God and a miracle, I see warning not comfort.

I agree, they remind me of how I saw them when I was in a very dark time in my life, always put it down to an illusion or hallucination and I will not get into it or what I thought I saw but they are the eye's of intense suffering and can be interpreted just as much as a warning as a call to faith but maybe they are both.

That's amazing, I can conclude from the link and images it is the truth, but I already know these things are true and many other things yet unseen are coming soon.

Even it this is not real that most certainly is, there is some controversy that some of the features were painted on later such as the cherub under the moon and perhaps the moon itself but they can find no paint's from the period and the closest they can come is Acrylic's which of course did not exist in the 1500's, the colour of her robe is also extremely difficult to replicate as it is a blue green, also no artist at that time would have gone to the trouble of painting impossible to see reflections curved just right for the shape of the eyeball in the eye's of the image.

One story was during the Mexican revolution a bomb was planted under the alter, the church was crowded with people when the bomb exploded and pulverized the alter but the image which was much lower AND unprotected as well as being right behind the alter was completely undamaged (it should have been long rotted away even then but has resisted time unlike almost all cactus cloth that is exposed to the air for a few years) and even more despite the alter and the church being wrecked not one of the people in the building was injured.

Here is the story of Huan Diego, one thing is undeniable fact, this image converted million's of Aztec's and spared them from far more brutal treatment at the hand's of the conquering spanish and it did so because the hill were the image now stands in it's own basilica and were the apparition appeared and the cloak of Huan Diego was imprinted with it was sacred to a lesser known but very well loved Aztec Goddess called Tonantzin the little mother of the corn and the children and so the people could more readily then identify with her as there own mother Goddess and become introduced to her Son Jesus.
poemmangod.forumotion.com...

She did not send her apparition to the priests or to the conqueror's but to a humble poor farmer.

It's probably Jesus wondering if anyone was still there.

That's not true at all--we artists have a very, VERY long history of putting in little optical tricks and hidden things into our artwork. It's a well documented tradition.

That said, I looked at the link you provided, and I'm very certain that the 'reflections of people' in the eyes are more of a pareidolia effect than anything truly resembling human beings being reflected in the eyes of some image that appeared on cactus cloth in some claimed supernatural way.

Holy Crap! That's creepy!

Is it me or......people will follow the writings of those who lived 2000 years ago that claimed to hear "the voice of God" and believe every word they wrote.....but, if you say you hear God talking to you now, telling you the same things, they lock you up in a mental ward.
Strange.

Thats why god doesnt talk to us anymore....

People kept locking everyone up for listening to him! lol

No but seriously that is Creepy as hell, Im a christian but if i saw that id probably kill it with fire

I'm glad I'm not an atheist. If I were, then life would have no meaning for me.

Being an atheist doesn't mean your life has no meaning. 1 doesn't mean the other.

My statement was supposed to be ironic, see. I thanked God. As an atheist it would be diametrically opposed. Aw, forget it. And also a dyslexic thinks God's name is Fido.

No one is saying it doesn't.

I would assume that in order for your life to be satisfying, you have found something that gives it meaning. We more or less all have to.

But for those of us who have faith, that is part of what gives our lives their meaning. If we were to lose that, our lives would not have it. I doubt this statement was necessarily talking about you.

The statement was implying that as an atheist, his life would have no meaning.

That's not entirely true.

Family, friends, goals and other things can give life meaning.

God only gives death meaning, not life.

Dear lord baby jesus, I see the pain in your eyes, the pain you bear, the pain you showed when you opened your eyes and saw no wine left for you to kill your thirst for being on that cross for so many years, may you bless us and send bolts of lightning to the guy who forgot to fill your cup, amen.

Ahh! The temptation to become atheist and make everything permissable

Isn't that exactly what religion does? You can do anything as a Christian and then go tell someone, say some words and "it's fine" lol.
