You're really good at this, golden.

Don't let your talents go to waste.

Publish your art online somewhere. I'm sure there'll be many who wish to purchase your portraits.

I've honestly never thought of it haha.
I've always considered my art to be good, but not good enough to buy.
I guess I can set up an account on fineartamerica

Great portrait, man!

I am also an artist, message me with your email or something as I would love to trade pieces for critique.

I
Am
So
Jealous
Of
Your
Talent.

Stick-figures are me, even then it's pretty pathetic really. I was always good at technical drawing but once freehand and improvisation are called up, I fail, miserably.

This is why I collect Art, because, like music, it is a talent I am in awe of, and always will be, it speaks to my soul.

There is a Chinese bloke here in Fremantle that started out exactly as you, belting out charcoal portraits for the locals and tourists in the mall, his talent is also amazing. Now he has a studio, in Fremantle, and folks come from all over for a portrait from him.

# working for a living if you can get by doing this, you're the real deal my friend.
-------------------------------

If DTOM or BFFT or any mods read this, can you please give my friend as many applauses as possible.
Cheers

I don't have the right mental capacity.. When I see stuff like this I look at the lines and think I could make a copy of this if I spent weeks on it, but on my own im stuck in 2D and everything is sort of sitting there flat, oh and it looks maybe 6th grade level haha.. My mom can do near picture reality water color, or she could... She did this dot painting, that is the best i've ever seen. I didn't get it at all.. I'm more like my dad...

Like you though I see it. I can appreciate it. Drink it in.

This is GOOD...

I love it.

actually I'd even buy one if I had some money..

Very impressive.

The facial expression makes it difficult to determine whether you drew Walter White or Heisenberg

Good job

I guarantee I could sell that at my store for a minimum of 25$.

It doesn't sound like much, but people would buy it, and that is all it takes.

Nice. I also like drawing portraits! I was excited to see this on here. It inspired me to post a couple of my own. So here are mine:

(Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel)

Really good. Good eyes. My dad used to do portraits to, but never got the eyes right. Mom and I recommended he draw them all with sunglasses on. Lol! (He didn't though, he kept on plugging at it. After he died, I found his drawings, and there was a couple of pages of nothing but eyes.) Awww. : (

Wow - your shading work is quite lovely. Not that I'm an art critic, but I do interior design for a few clients, and I can see this being a hit for someone's media room.

It is amazing how many talented artists (like yourself) are members here - have you ever seen ATS member Brotherman's work? You guys/gals need to contact each other and form an online gallery of your own.

I love the shading of the glasses!
