They're really not.

While entertaining, fun, and informative... most of these have been around for years.

It's a common "scam" (for lack of a better word) for youtubers to re-post old TV specials and videos labeling them "2016" (or whatever the most current year is when they re-post them).

Next year you'll see these same videos re-posted with "2017" in the title.

That said, it was nice of you to compile these into a thread for those who may not have seen some of them.

That being said youtube is still great for documentaries and you can always find new stuff, OP I'll try logging into my youtube account and see if I can find some more vids. I know I have a 2 hour gem somewhere narrated by that Mexican guy who has his own show on Mexican TV, one of the better compilation videos I've watched.

Thanks for taking the time to list the videos above, some of which I had seen before and a few that I hadn't. Occasionally the odd video throws up a few snippets that I hadn't seen before despite many documentaries today being re-hashes of older productions.
