Thanks for the info. I've read before that they've kept several F-117's in a hangar more or less in flying condition. Instead of using them for testing purposes could they simply be training crews to keep them sharp and available in the unlikely instance of a war and they're pressed into service again?

It's even more unlikely since they have been talking rather seriously recently about sending the fleet to the bone yard in AZ rather soon.

It gets even more unlikely as the one seen and filmed flying in 2014 was one of the same ones that Zaph and I saw flying last month (they both came from the same hanger) and was also being worked on the next day while we were watching the base. Also it wouldn't explain why they flew two of them together and in formation. In addition one of the F-117 had something different about it to the other one.
