Did The DNC Violate Federal Law By Bringing Illegal Immigrants On Stage?

How do these people keep getting away with breaking the law? It probably helps that the Executive Branch is populated by our "Loser in Chief" who has already said he will not be enforcing the laws of our country...even after the courts told him his EOs were unConstitutional.

There are several violations of law here, but on top of it all am I actually supposed to feel sorry for these people? I have ZERO issue with LEGAL immigration, but when people go on stage and proudly exclaim their disregard for the laws of our country it makes me want to do non-T&C friendly things to them.

So why won't these violations be prosecuted? I guess the DNC is 'too big to fail' and can blatantly break laws and then Obama will just selectively enforce and not enforce what he wants...I really do despise these people.

Can you even imagine if a regular person committed these violations? Straight to the Gulag. Unbelievable.

By allowing people to travel to Philadelphia who openly admitted, on stage in front of a national audience, to breaking our laws and doing nothing, the government has shown it will only enforce the laws when it chooses to. Our immigration law is clear, knowingly harboring illegal immigrants is a crime. 8 U.S. Code § 1324 states that any person who: knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, transports, or moves or attempts to transport or move such alien within the United States by means of transportation or otherwise, in furtherance of such violation of law; The DNC produced the video showing Karla and her mother meeting Hillary Clinton, and mentioned that she received a deportation order.

Both Ortiz and Silva admitted on the stage to a national audience that they broke the law. The DNC invited them to the speak on their stage. If they arranged the travel for them, they would be in violation of the law and subject to fines and jail time. Violating 8 U.S. Code § 1324 is punishable by a fine or up to 10 years in prison: (i)in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(i) or (v)(I) or in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(ii), (iii), or (iv) in which the offense was done for the purpose of commercial advantage or private financial gain, be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both;(ii)in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(ii), (iii), (iv), or (v)(II), be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both

Will anybody be punished for breaking the law? It is doubtful. It seems the law only applies when the Obama administration decides it does.

Well it is clear in light of recent events that the FBI is already corrupted, so I would imagine the other ABC agencies are as well.

With all the law breaking these two have done, I can only ask "What difference does it make?"

The FBI is not the problem, they can say and prove someone broke the law till they are blue in the face it is the Department of Justice that has to bring a prosecutor to press charges in a court and they won't. Without a prosecutor, investigations are pointless and that is how Obama and the Democrats circumvent the laws in order to harvest votes.

It's not right and what if these illegal immigrants were refugees...on a boat or plane. The US except so little of these legally but encourages others to sneak in and seek jobs? I'm Canadian and it's next to impossible for us to enter the country and stay, even for retirement while paying taxes even for work even while owning property. There is some bizarre form of discrimination going on with Obama. It needs to be equal not selective and to put illegals on a stage at a political convention? I hate Trump but the dems need to realize not to stoop to his level like Michelle Obama said. It is about minority votes. It is a voter block that that they must have and is easy to play up to. They let them in, they let them have jobs, they let them send all the money out of country, they let them file tax returns with quasi social security numbers invented just for them to rake in free tax return cash, they let them swamp the welfare system, legal system, medical system every possible benefit imaginable. The average citizen from Canada has no chance of getting the benefits they do, because immigrating Canadians do not make or break Democrat's elections to power.

Didn't the FBI director say he did not recommend bringing charges though?

It is crazy and getting crazier everyday it seems. I am a member of a building trades union. I tend to vote more Democrat as they are more for the working people and pro union. Republicans are anti union and seem to favor the rich in the hope something may "trickle down" to the non rich.

My problem is I hate the typical dem stance on illegal immigration and to parade them onstage is deplorable.

If nobody in THIS country will do a darn thing, it would make a little sense to find somebody that will to help out. It is odd yes, but what else is there to do?

He did say he found lies, perjuries, illegal activity. He also did not recommend charges. That is the whole purpose of his department and his job title but he couldn't do his job. Sad really. Hoover must be rolling over in his grave, today the FBI is just a pathetic shell of its former self, incapable of investigating government wrongdoing.

Nice try! He said if you have them release them not go ahead a hack! Big difference! GO ahead and make excuses for the democratic nominees indiscretions as it was she who set up her server, used multiple devices, and sent and received secret emails not Trump and not Russia!
