Two ways to look at it. If there is a higher power running things in the background then the last thing they want is an intelligent person as president. The dumber they are the easier to controle.

It's easy to dismiss what doesn't confirm your bias. You're way off base on this one, Chad. I always get the impression from you that you're hoping someone will say that one thing that will change your mind. Not likely to happen. You'll have to do that yourself, when the truth becomes more important than what you believe or deny. S&F for the Hillary Trump humor though.

Yet these same leftists don't see that this whole "TPTB'' and "NWO" is nothing more than international socialism aimed at destroying western societies.

While I agree with your overall point, you must remember that this only matters in a dictatorship--we do not have that. What we have is a representational republic, and while the (unconstitutional, IMO) executive-order capability does exist, the POTUS does not have the amount of power for which many people (especially non-US people) give him credit.

No president ever gets more than half of the nation to approve of the job they're doing (on average, over the course of their presidency), so I don't think "TPTB" or the "Illuminati" have any unrealistic expectations that all of America is going to fall in love with one particular individual, especially when they are openly as divisive as our two main candidates.
