I had to gulp a few times reading your post. It feels like I am reliving the sixties all over again and you think the past eight years have been nirvana?

Not where I live. People are suffering from job loss never regained-decimated healthcare from Obamacare-kids that can't eat their disgusting lunches thanks to Michelle-worldwide laughter internationally every time Obama visits on and on-I'm exhausted.

I do want to feel strong and proud again about my country-I pray (and I'm not even religious) this national embarrassment and his precious family move to Hawaii and we never see or hear from him again-but there is always gonna be that fear of Michelle's ego propelling her status (first, sh'es gotta find her waistline and dress accordingly.)

Well he can't exactly legislate them out of existence like fossil fuels.

I am sure if he could get away with it he would.

The rosy picture you paint of the economy just aint there. You, like many others, cite unemployment statistics. Those numbers can be and are manipulated. What can't be manipulated are job growth rate numbers, and they have been kept since 1941. 13 presidents have had those numbers tracked by the government, and Obama ranks 11th out of those 13, only H.W. and W. have worse numbers.

Know what else can't be manipulated? GDP growth rate numbers. Obama will carry the dubious distinction of being the ONLY president to never carry a yearly rate of 3% growth rate in ANY of his years in office. Most economists cite the 3% mark as the line for a healthy and strong economy here in the US. What could be worse? Oh...I know...Obama is set to leave office with an overall growth rate average of 1.55%...the 4th worst rate in the history of this country. Only Andrew Johnson, Teddy Roosevelt, and Herbert Hoover were worse.

I'm not even going to go into detail about National Debt as a percentage of GDP. Obama is rated horribly there as well.

What we are seeing here is fear from Obama. If Trump is elected Obama's Admin will not be able to escape the fact that it is a true failure. Horrible economically, and domestically we have seen a sharper divide than ever before. He knows that if Hillary is defeated Obamacare is gone as well. People will look back and wonder what the heck Obama did for 8 years.

New poll only 21% think it is on the right track.

These attacks happen way too much and are troubling to say the least. I'm no Trump supporter, or Hillary for that matter, but today I see the usual liberal suspects of CNN, MSNBC, etc. panned Trump's speech last night as being doom and gloom. And today Obama says "the birds are chirping and the sun is shining". Now the attack in Germany happens. Things aren't as bad as Trump portrayed nor is it rainbows and unicorns as in Obama's world. That being said, the more that these incidents happen between now and November, and the more this admin takes a soft touch, apologist approach and don't admit the world is under attack, the more it bodes well for Trump.

That is priceless, when the Dems are pushing the fear of Trump as their only option. They sure as hell can't run on Hillary's record! "But just think of what Trump MIGHT do if elected"

CNN, one of the biggest bashers of Trump, may sound worthy of thought when unchallenged on their studio set echo chamber, but take a look at this black Trump supporter putting a CNN reporter in his place.

I love this guy, he is my new hero.

I saw Trump's speech as a very positive thing for this Country and a reason to HOPE again.

Whether he can live up to that remains to be seen, but we sure as hell know that Hillary is going to triple down on Obama's policies.

Obama slams Trump speech: Can't make decisions based on fear

That's funny coming from one who has made the poorest decisions in presidential history!

And yet what does Obama thrive on? FEAR!

-Fear of the police
-Fear of white people
-Fear of man made global warming
-Fear of conservatives
-Fear of Republicans

Obama ran with "HOPE", "CHANGE" & "Yes We Can". And we, even I, believed.

Trump only has to acknowledge that "Hope no longer exists", "Change, for the worse, has come" & "No, you didn't. Even when you had 100% control of the entire governmental structure in your first two years with no potential resistance on anything you could have dreamed of doing."

Clinton IS the result of a very hard to defeat metastasized political cancer. But every time she speaks there's an opportunity for apoptosis to occur. Let her speak. The more, the merrier.

Trump, if he's allowed to live, will truly be the only and last hope for any political solution in the USA. If the USA is to remain an intact country going forward. Even the most die hard communist understands this fully. And that should speak volumes.

Actions and results of the DEMS. That's the only thing Trump needs for political ammunition.

And I've got some land in Florida for you. It's a bit under water, but with a million or two cubic yards of gravel, clay and top soil it would be an ideal location. That's obama, with a few thousand good ideas, a brain and some internal criminal control he would make a good president. Of course the idiot should have done all that eight years ago, not when the foundation is sinking into the swamp.

Cheers - Dave

We've got less than six months of his BS to deal with. I think I can hold my breath that much longer.

But, if Hillary is handed the Presidency, I might pop.

Obama also thrives on adulation (he believes his own lies!)-just the number of times he mentions himself in his own speeches is revolting.

Our middle class is vanishing faster than Obamacare can die us off. At the same time our immigrants with all their diseases (god Bless them) are sucking the life out of economy as well as the actual killings of Americans.

Trump spoke what native Americans needed to hear-and gave us hope-we need to at least hear that as opposed to Obama comparing a thug as "possibly" his own son.

or do you not want to discuss that uncomfortable truth?

What I want is for people to discuss the TOPIC that was about Obamas remarks.

I know it's asking a lot.

nah....it's the same political s**t you talk about every day...democrats bad, republicans good....yada, yada, yada....why "discuss" it?????....same people on one side or another, just like it was here in 2008 and 2012...nobody changes anyone's mind......vulgarities, putdowns, and nasty remarks are the norm.....what you really want is someone that has a different opinion, so you can bash and ridicule them, regardless of any factual data that might be contrary to your own beleifs....it's your daily "sporting" event

On this episode of politicians say the darndest things. Obama says people can't make decisions based on fear. Oh really Mr. President ? That is certainly rich coming from the biggest champion of 'police violence','gun violence', and the greatest THREAT we as Americans face is 'Climate change' ! Of course than is not when he's pushing fear porn about evil rich people, evil bankers, evil Wall Street, and other delusional paranoia coming from his party.

Jeepers,
I think I agree with you once again, fear is a terrible thing! Anyway, I'm off now, I'm busy building a Huuugge wall.
