Explain the venom spewed at Melania Trump?

I am truly curious if any of the anti-trump crowd here can explain all the venom spewed over her speech?

So some of the lines were the same/close to the same, this is not new in speech writing at all... yet I wake up and it seems like every news station in the country is running some sort of hit piece on her... Then there is all the hate because of her accent.... WTH... so an immigrant cant have an accent?

It makes zero sense at all...

I hope someone here can shed some light on this....

You dont like trump because of some crazy things he said months ago... got it no big deal... but to attack the mans wife like this... low class... low class...

A lot of the speech was word-for-word. We all know politicians (and their spokespeople) have speechwriters, so it really shouldn't be a big surprise.

But I also think Trump's wife is seen as a spoiled bimbo with not very much to offer, in comparison with Michelle Obama who has umteen different degrees from Ivy league schools, is self-made, well-spoken, intelligent, etc.

I think a lot of it just comes down to the fact that Michelle Obama has a lot more respect by the public and the Trumps in general are not looked at in the same light.

I would never be the spouse of a politician for just that reason. Better have real thick skin. I am sure she is use to praises. Unlike Michelle Obama who is use to being compared to monkeys and her daughters. What goes around, comes around.

I dont like the trumps have no intention of voting for them... but this attack on her is extremely low class, and I am not just talking the social media warriors... I am talking Major news networks participating in the attacks.

Check out the comparison videos floating around, Obama plagiarized..Clinton plagiarized... I am sure at least every other election you can find people ripping off previous speeches...

Not that I care one whit for her husband or the opposition, but if I had to guess I would say it is due to her being a successful and fairly attractive woman...conclusion? Jealousy. Good ole fashioned jealousy is the root cause for said venomous words.

What goes around comes around. The Republicans have been demonizing and hating Hillary ever since she was First Lady. The Dems are returning the favor.

The conspiracy side of me, thinks the Trump camp did it on purpose. Knowing full well that the media and liberals are hateful and prejudice would attack a person who's doesn't work for the government.

Then people can show examples of Obamas(both Michelle and Beery) Clinton, Biden, Warren, and so on doing similar things.

If the media really cares and is neutral, why didn't they point out democrats when they did it?

If one is a Sanders supporter and you see a Clinton supporter jumping on Mrs. trump, but they say nothing about Hillary doing the same thing. Wouldn't a sane person take a step back and say, wow these people will do /say anything to get Hillary elected. They will run me over for something if it helps them, and I cannot trust the media....I am voting for The Donald

To be fair the Right has been attacking Michelle since day one. In much more superficial ways. I can't count the number of times I have seen someone ask if she is actually a man. Melania used a plagiarized speech and she's getting called out for it. What's the justification for all the criticism regarding Michelle's physical appearance?

Being that I am both Anti-Trump AND Anti-Clinton and have nothing to gain, never do, I'll take a stab at the query..

The Democrats felt that Mrs. Trump's Speech and HOW it was given, from the use of teleprompter to other's words/phrases, gave them the freedom to throw back most of the superfluous crap they've heard for the past 8 years.
Immature? Catty? ABSOLUTELY!! But it was also immature and catty when the GOP fired the same type crap.

Who was it that was the most boisterous about Obama's Birth certificate? I'd even go as far to type that "SOME" Democrats have been waiting with bated breath for any misstep in order to pounce, sadly they chose to attack Mrs. Trump who has absolutely nothing to do with it..

And You wonder why nothing gets done? Instead of "What can We do for ALL of Us?" it is now "What can We do to dis-credit 'them' and make Us look better?"

Imagine how much "Good" could be done by coming together and not wasting a bunch of $$$ on Erections..

when her speech was run through a plagiarism checker, which should have been done BEFORE she read the darn thing, it came back that it was definitely plagiarized. if that had been a college paper she would have gotten in BIG trouble.

Personally, I'm not a fan of her AT ALL. I think she is a "posterchild" and wears a mask just like every other politician that's in the spotlight.

The Obamas will only eat organic, non-GMO food but Obama's administration is full of ex-Monsanto scumbags, the hypocrisy is infuriating. That's just a smidgen of why I am disgusted by them, but my description of her was based on the "public perception" and general "rap sheet" most people would give to Michell Obama for all her great achievements, accolades, and qualities. Plus all the fun theories about her really being a man because her ring finger is longer than her index finger (those are hilarious)

Why does a plagiarist, who refuses to take any responsibility for her plagiarism receive venom? Gee ... why do you think Einstein... it's kind of obvious. Here.. I'll explain it to you in small words. people who do bad things, like stealing parts of other peoples speeches, who then get caught, and refuse to take any responsibility for their actions, tend to get crap thrown their way. Kind of logical, eh?

It's not just the fact that the speech was plagiarized but to plagiarize the Republicans arch nemesis in the exact same situation that happened just 8 years ago, shows a complete lack of oversight by the Trump administration. To add insult to injury the Trump administration refuses to admit their blunder. I also find it odd that Trump and Obama share so many similar values according to Melania.....
