Reinforce laws? , there is a sense of irony in that, why don't we analyze some of the ideas that Trump has been pushing along this year? to see if your opinion is well based:

when he has openly said that ALL the Mexicans that come to America are criminals? when he has dared to propose laws that are against the universal declaration of human rights like to TAKE AWAY citizenships from people that actually was born in this country just only because they were children of refugees?, when he also suggest that ALL the Muslims not just coming but already living here are terrorists?

How about his public demonstrations of sympathy with white supremacist groups like KU KUX KLAN? What do you thing Abraham Lincoln might think of such endorsements?

when he is masking his own inability to propose intelligent ideas to move this country ahead using a smog curtain of a distraction sophism in times that America is having the lowest rates ever of foreign illegal immigration?

Please talk about illegal immigration when the Immigration system of the country would be really fair, when an immigrant can present his or her case to the immigration authorities knowing that would be treated over an equally based checking, since the current one gives clear discriminatory privileges to Asian people wanting to immigrate over Hispanics and even Europeans.

Why should I read any further when right off the bat you're pushing misinformation and neglecting to mention the enormous difference between immigrants and illegal immigrants.

You have no clue of history do you. Lincoln didn't free the slaves because he thought it was right. He wasnt an abolishnist. He did it because he believed in a free economy it was a business decision. In fact would it shock you if I told you Lincoln said this in a debate.

You can argue part of this is caused by illegal immagration. The other part by corporations removing manufacturing from the US in search of this cheaper labor. If he can make it more costly for them to manufacture in foriegn countries this pattern will change. Look at Detroit the intire city is mired in poverty all manufacturing has left. The way to revive cities is to bring manufacturing on to them and for governments to stop being hostile to business. In places like Detroit thet wanted companies to pay more and more and priced themselves right out of a job. To be honest I'm not sure trump van do anything about it at this point but I will say what we have been doing isn't working.

Mexicans make up 28% of the immigrant population here. They're doing more than fine compared to most from elsewhere with Asians slightly above them.

Your last part is true but that's not a Trump issue, that's an issue with our immigration system. And I know first hand as I had to fight for years and spend over 10K in attorney fees for my now wife's right to stay here even though she had a green card and a Master's degree. The issue? She comes from a former communist state. The US doesn't like that too much.

If you want to talk about our broken legal immigration system, which Obama campaigned heavily on fixing and has done nothing to confront it, go right ahead. But you're Trump trollin' right now.

And btw, the elephant in the room when taking Mexicans out of the larger picture is that the majority we're legally accepting from Asia and India have advanced degrees. Please don't cry "Asian privilege" without acknowledging their superior education.

You can't destroy someone you don't like when you use falsehoods and twist the truth just to suit your hatred of them, as you are doing here with Trump. It isn't working.

I am curious since if it is in Europe or in the former USSR the reason could be not the one you think, if that is the case, the migration quota of those countries is extremely low year by year thanks to the discriminatory system exist that give privileges to countries that it is said had lower proportion in immigration historically to America.

Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Moldavia, Rumania, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Czech republic, all former Yugoslavia countries, Hungary, Bulgaria are all nations that have extremely high proportion of immigrants to America in the XIX century and so are blocked by the discriminatory system of immigration quotas.

Trying to promote diversity the system of quotas instead promoted lack of quality in the immigrants, since it is national origin and not personal profile what really has weight for a decision of admission.

The massive consumption of drugs in this country is an issue since 1920s, and when the narcotics have not come from Mexico or south America they came from far east and even from North Africa, and right now is a lot what is coming from Afghanistan.
