You know that few minutes right before a thunderstorm...that immense silence that just hangs there like the crest of a wave, as if the whole sky is taking a deep inward breath and holding it, sucking all of the sound in with it...right before that first deafening crack?

I have always said that if it were possible to physically feel a shadow looming over you, that would be how it felt. That's what this feels like to me. Beyond just off, and heading toward really wrong.

I think perhaps it's the quietness of the whole scene...any little groups start to gather and it stands out. Or, a more sinister option: something is going to happen and they want everyone to be watching, so they make a buzz about it.

Tuesday I listen to the 95 decibel version of muzak with the old
ladies shuckin' and jivin' to something that shoulda died 30

Maybe jamming them? I dare those morons to start crap, and try and attack Trump supporters. I'm not into either party, but still, attacking supporters of their candidate is terrorism, and assault. I think there are 1000's of police there, and have snipers in a 2 block radius. If they start something, ARREST THEM RIGHT AWAY. No coddling.

From the scanner I was listening to and in the 3 hour or so span, they squashed anything that remotely got out of control. When I stopped they were ordering coffee over their radios.
