The man has orange skin and hair. We are already way beyond tacky.

So you don't like Trump because of the color of his skin ? His hair ?

That speech by definition makes you a BIGOT !!!

Narcissists and sociopaths have that effect on people.

That's why they do it. They love to be admired and praised.

Why do you think it effects him when the opposite happens???

Why do you think he sues anyone he can that speaks ill of him, even when it's the truth???

Like I said - if there was any real problem we'd have heard it over and over again.
It's easy to say he does it because of his ego, but it just comes across as trying to find fault no matter what good he does.

The whole 'narcissist' and 'sociopath' tagging is right up there with words like misogynist as the most over used and incorrectly used terms used in this election process. People like to use labels, when in reality human beings are far more complex.

Something like 4500 law suits doesn't tell you anything, Trump, business wise, is a scumbag, he doesn't pay subs, or expects them to take less money. I can't lay all of this at his feet, I am sure he employs numerous project managers. He is sued often for payment, and has had numerous liens placed against his properties.

Rich people get sued.
Getting a good deal from suppliers is not a scumbag thing to do.
Not paying if you don't get what you paid for is the RIGHT thing to do.

I am sure Trump can be a complete bas***d in business but that is not the point that was being made. You are conflating two points.

God, watching those old women dance to a bad cover of the Stones is so pathetic.
So very appropriate for a Trump convention though.

Sales pitch means squat.

And absolutely stupid to listen to a candidate and think "he doesn't really mean it - I'll vote for him anyway."

And are you proposing to vote for someone WITHOUT listening to them????

Body language can be revealing. It is more important than words.
I am usually perceptive to that kind of thing.
I can walk in a room of strangers and within minutes feel people out, getting a sense of their true intentions.
Body language reveals emotions and deceptiveness.

Maybe Trump does have that same kind of intuition. It would certainly make sense, when you consider his success in negotiations, etc.

Why does every Trump supporter seem to have this perception that Trump is just like them? He cannot be the same as everyone! It just seems so many are impressing their own image on a blank slate!

Why can't he be like everyone else?

Because he has more money?

I expect politicians to be just like everyone else.

That's the big difference between him and Hillary.

Hillary thinks she's above everyone else, money or not.

Meh.

I certainly don't judge anyone regarding their finances, status, or words. Individually, one should always base judgment on actions. Real actions, not perceived. Lord knows, I have found some of the biggest dicks in this word to be from many various spectrums!

Trump, irregardless of what he says, is an idiot! If he provided his real tax information before election day...many will see that. But no, 7 years worth is under audit! Gasp. How convenient.

How will Trump's tax returns show that he is an idiot?
A lot of the Trump attacks these days are so random and general it's becoming a bit of a joke. People are seeing it to.
If you are going to criticise at least have some substance.

Trump is a great exaggerator! He has shown it again and again. Every time he speaks, he spouts off numbers and information that is not true, but makes him feel and look good. His history shows that his facts are more often exaggerated. I point out that he is not sharing his real finances with America for the past 7 years is extremely suspicious for someone who is promoting that he is a great businessman who will run our country as he has done for himself.

Ahem. Wouldn't you like to see the proof of truth, just to be able to tell others like me to shove it down our blow holes? Or is it more frightening to think that he may be the biggest blowhard ever?

Nah, Obama has the "biggest blowhard" award.

It would be beyond even Trumps awesome powers to outdo him.

Did Obama actually stop the seas from rising?

I can't stand Obama! I even had to hold my nose to vote for him. Honestly, since in the first four years he really didn't do anything, I never dreamed he could do so much damage in another four. Ugh! Unfortunately, the republicans have forced me to look at third parties, and thankfully, the looney Liberterians are actually offering a team I can stomach!

The republican party keeps offering repugnant candidates. Unfortunately, they did again and ended up with Trump! Have you ever read about the worse president in history, Zachory Taylor? If not you should. Wash, repeat. 100%!

No matter what happens this election. This is the downfall of the Republican party! It is sad.

This is true, however digging into Trumps past and hearing from people who do actually know him and have done for some time you begin to get a picture of a person who is connected to the average Joe, or at least gives teh impression he does not believe he is above them. i.e. he is not aloof.

I'm a West Palm Beach native and I know an eletrician and another trademan I used to box with down there that worked at Mara Lago a few times and they love Trump.

Apparently he throws a party once a year at Mara Lago where he has everyone who worked on his house come and gives them bonuses and has a wild party where everything is free.

He's kind of a local legend down there.

It's very telling that they found no one from those that worked for him that they could really use to hurt him.
There are so many stories of incidents like Trump spending time with his employees, like visiting kitchens and hanging out with cooks and waiters. He's obviously a man who people like when they get to know him.

Please provide a source, he has been sued by so many small businessmen, I find this hard to believe.

There are loads...

Here's one but i can just keep posting them

..this guy worked for him for 20 years

I think it's more that ALL campaign promises are not truthful. The reason is that no promises can possibly be made because congress and the Supreme Court have a say in what happens. All campaign promises are is intent, nothing more.

I have no such illusions. We are all our own person, we are all a minority of one.

I feel safe in saying that I have more in common with Trump than Hillary, however.

Fair enough.

But you see no red flags in electing someone with an extreme case of Narcissistic Personality Disorder? A guy who engages in childish insults, and already has a knack for creating conflict. You have no apprehension about elevating that guy to the most powerful position in the world?

If he was a uniter, it wouldn't matter what the media spun--- Just like it didn't matter with Bernie Sanders-- if he was a true uniter, the proof would be in the diverse overwhelming support he would gain. He wouldn't need to pay his own way, he'd have grass roots support. He doesn't have it.

He does however unite racists. That's a fact. He unites xenophobes. That's another fact. He's exhibited no ability in healing racial divides. If anything he seems to exacerbate the issue. Not exactly appealing to the best part of humanity.

You really think it's unreasonable for an educated person to be against Trump based on what he brings(or doesn't bring) to the table?

Very sad, but you speak the truth. The Clinton's know Trump better than anyone. Two peas in a pod. Sigh. They are doing their happy dance. Democrats can see the writing on the wall. The Republicans are self-imploding.

True, they still cannot get most of Bernie's supporters to go for Clinton, but she knows the establishment will never vote Trump into Presidency if it goes to a house vote! They all know the real Trump and have dealt with him where most Americans have not.

America I am feeling very sad for the state of our country.

The GOP needs to stop being so old-timey, I swear it's like watching a bingo hall. Youth don't gravitate toward such things because youth are extremely superficial. You gotta change your scene, it's not the "cool" scene.

The establishment needs to quit going against every single candidate that doesn't go along with their super old establishment ways. They could have had a huuuuge support base had they not constantly bended their own rules to keep Ron Paul out. The GOP would be rocking the house right now if it wasn't for that, but noooooo.

Anyway.. *yawn* I'm trying to stay awake here...

Eta - oh the duck dynasty guy is on now...
