Active Hostage Situation at Baltimore Burger King

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Four people, including a 7-year-old are being held hostage inside a Baltimore Burger King after a rape suspect flees police on Sunday afternoon.

According to Baltimore Police Spokesperson T.J. Smith, a vehicle pursuit ensued around 11:00 a.m. when the suspect refused to pull over for officers.

Smith says the suspect later collided with a vehicle in the area of the 1700 block of Washington Blvd. and Monroe St. where the suspect fled into a Burger King.

Still unfolding, it was said he released one hostage so far. The suspect is wanted for rape and led police in a car chase. After crashing, ran into the Burger King.

While this is tragic, hopefully it is an isolated, unreleated incident as it appears to be.

It was neat while prepping in the past... but seeing us revert to act of insanity so fast is scary.

Just think, If BLM got their way and there was no cops, this rapist could run around freely.

With regards to the op,this is indeed an unfortunate event. Let's hope it's not a ff event. They are becoming so hard to differentiate from truth. Blessings and positive thoughts out to those captured in this scary situation.
