July 15, 2016 Protests

Apparently a few protests took place on Friday July 15th afterall.

Some were slightly violent with arrests and some peaceful.

Maybe more happened. Anybody know? Local stories?

That Portland one- happened about four miles from here.

From the article:
"In all, 18 people were arrested during the protest. Sauschuck called it one of the city's largest-ever mass arrests."

The people downtown are always a bit riled up, but I can't really blame them. Most of them are living 5+ in crowded apartments to afford the outrageous cost of rent down there compared to the pathetic salaries they can earn working down there.

I've got nothing good to say about the police in this city, but hopefully they are handling this well.
