The hustle is in democracies where people can vote their conscience, those in power are gaming the system to manipulate voter conscience. They are censoring "Islamist extreme", out of sight out of mind as much as possible and immediate damage control where they cannot hide it completely.

Simple matter of guarding their jobs and the power that comes with them jealously.

I can understand you may be confused.

I've never heard of an attack being islamic terrorism until it was proven to be islamic terrorism. I honestly believe you've been called out on your original statement and now you're crawfishing and claiming you don't even watch broadcast television anymore. Furthermore, a few years ago, islamic terrorism wasn't talked about very often. It just started when ISIS came into the picture a couple of years ago.

Nobody called me out on anything. All anyone has sone was vindicated my first post. This a "Obama is hiding islamic terrorism because he is an Islamist" or some snip like that. The OP did not state it directly so I wanted to clarify.

And no, I do not have a set-top box. My TV is hooked up to am Xbox and I watch Netflix when I get a chance or whatever videos I get through this site on my phone. I only ever watched CBC and they too went down the "terror terror terror" on 2/3 reports so I stopped a few a years ago. Ill swear that on my childs life.

You are wrong. The reports on Islamic terror might have died down a bit for a year or so while we were pulling out of afghanistan and Iraq and picked up again with ISIS but it was never gone.

I have no idea where you have been if you are not aware that the democrats have been doing everything they can to avoid the use of the term 'islamic terrorist'. By Democrats I also include their propaganda arms CNN, MSNBC and CBS News.

I read here quite a bit. You think maybe I might have read something about something a few times since 2004.

Pretty much everything I know about affairs comes from the impressions I get by what is posted here and even the most narrow minded person would have considered that.

That is kind of up the same alley I was thinking. I dont think that TPTB want to deal with backlash of using a certain demographic as an excuse to anything they want geopolitcally. Yes they want people to be scared of them, but they dont want the people taking matters into their own hands when the authorities "fail" to overcome the threat.

He did say Islam. I read it last night on one of the live feed quotes. Can't remember which one, I really didn't pay attention there were so many. But below the headline photo of him making the speech, in huge black font, he was quoted saying, "than the terrorists of radical Islam who seek to destroy it.", in that last bit there...not the way it is now.

Now, I suppose it could have been sensationalist reporting or a poor translation...but I don't think so. It was there, bold as daylight. He also used the word earlier in the same speech, citing how terrorists of extreme Islam had already attacked Paris, but that appears to have been removed as well.

And I know other people saw/heard it too, because there was a big flurry of people insisting it was IS, that right away they were looking for accomplices and ties to radical Islam.

Something is very wrong here.
