The small water hole

The old man and the shadowy figure were seated at an oasis;" They killed each other once for this small water hole;" The old man said;" Simple things meant so much when you try to survive for the day" They both looked at the oasis and drank a handful of water. "Your ancestors gave these men of the desert a chance of survival, but the cost was a single king to unite them all.. A God" The shadowy figure looked out into the desert and said;" My ancestors taught savages how to survive and what did they do? They slaughtered them all."

"Ive been to King Solomons court, the ancient pyramids in egypt, the hanging gardens.. Ive seen each part in history fill a role and what does it sum up to, the same savages fighting for a small water hole.. "

Whats perplexing is the tears of joy in finding water to which to quench a parched throat to save one from death is what made the water so sweet to begin with... and yet all the tears shed in trying to preserve it has salted all the worlds oceans. Wisdom of such mixes all such water bitter sweet upon ones taste.

Much less complicated... is when water was just water before any tears got involved.
