ETA: A part of me believes that God, or more likely an impostor coming across as the divine source of creation, wanted us to eat from the "forbidden" tree of knowledge.

that is one of the few logical conclusions one might derive from the tale of the garden of eden.

just a rant:

I believe adam and eve were thought bubbles (not yet in human form hence not needing clothing) and the serpent was belial, probably half human half serpent, already doomed (as we are today but not half animal)

Adam and Eve were tempted by the serpent thing, even after they were told not to, and boom, they became human form and needed clothes, but did not care bc now they could frolick, have sex, eat the fruit, they entered the dark side, the side which we are in now.

The serpent was probably one of their thought bubble friends and was tempted as well.

There are good serpents and bad serpents in the angelic hierarchy known for their wisdom.

Are You familiar with the thought that Adam (Adamu) had a Wife before Eve? In that text it reads "In the beginning was Adamu and Lilith created from the same dirt..." (read: "equal")

Was it because Lilith was 'equal' that Eve was created? and not only created but created with a bit of Adam's rib (read: subservient)...

Lilith ended up w/the prophet Samael from the Bible. Something to research or not...

What? Samuel was a prophet during the time of King David.

If I am not mistaken Samuel Died before David Officially became king, so while he was a prophet during the life of David it was not during the time he was king.
