The Congressional Black Caucus renewed calls for gun-control measures and police reform Friday morning, following fatal shootings of five police officers in Dallas and two black men in Louisiana and Minnesota this week.

I am not a cop.

I don't go around shooting people.

If black men keep shooting people like in Dallas, believe me, they’ll rush to have more severe gun laws.

They're idiots. This is what they do. Don't budge in the face of their obnoxious pushes. They lack logic and reasonableness. If they are worried about gun deaths, they need to send their social justice warriors into Chicago and love the gang members and drug dealers into giving up their low life lifestyle along with their guns. Idiots.

It will probably infringe upon your rights and liberties in some, as yet, unforeseen way.

And that's just about all......

The answer to this problem is to attack it from a holistic, integral approach:

Guns….develop reasonable laws on guns

STOP avoiding racial tensions in America LIKE SO MANY PEOPLE DO ON ATS!!!!

Deal with INNER CITY CRIME AND VIOLENCE…OBAMA!!!! AND THE BLACK CONGRESSIONAL CAUCUS!!!!

Education and create a better atmosphere of unity in the country

Deal with the too much violence in the media

In schools

Work on solving these problems and over time things will get better

Meanwhile in back in Bristol TN

The TBI says 37-year-old Lakeem Keon Scott  “acted alone” and was armed with at least two weapons, an “automatic-style” rifle, a pistol and a large amount of ammunition.

Investigators spoke with Scott Friday morning. Preliminary findings indicate Scott may have targeted people and officers after being troubled by recent events involving black people and law enforcement officers in other parts of the country.

Don't forget us hear in Georgia

Valdosta Police Officer Randal Hancock responded to a call of a break-in at the complex.

The caller, identified by the GBI as 22-year-old Stephen Paul Beck, said his car had been broken into.

As Hancock exited his patrol car, the GBI said he was fired upon. Hancock was struck twice in his protective vest and once beneath the vest in the abdomen area, according to the GBI.

It is a right.

When a government starts removing rights or even proudly and loudly proclaiming to, then we move to an authoritarian state.

So F### You, Congressional Black Caucus.

In another thread, I said that within 24 hours, this would not be about who did it or why, but that they would make it about more gun control.
Sad to see I was right.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Get ready folks. I will bet, within 24 hours, this will turn in to another anti gun crusade. The story will not be about what really caused this or who....it will be about guns and they will, despicably, use the deaths of these officers for the emotional plea.

It amazes me how so many of you wish to blame Obama. The fact is much of the street hatred is the result of the GOP push to "get tough on crime" in the eighties. America had all the Laws to maintain societies security. But the neocon batch wanted more involvement and dictated new measures as a show of force. Their approach was to use their clout to institute controversial and unconstitutional Laws such as the RICCO Act. To seize the individual's property and assets based on "suspicion" prior to conviction. The stated reason was to subdue the profits of "organized crime." And, of course, was used in all areas of policing in the nation.

What American's failed to realize is that "Government" definition is "Force." Government creates the Laws and law enforcement's duty is to prosecute offenders who either do not agree with certain laws, or act out when laws that at best is controversial and possibly illegal, is enforced on the public regardless of its intent. The RICCO Act is a good example. To seize property and assets without Due Process is a slap in the face of constitutional law. Yet it is only one of many "intrusions" introduced in the past few decades.

What we now see, "get tough on crime" was the excuse to broaden govt. power. Many states adopted an "in your face" approach of policing by enacting laws that are inept and with loose language that "covers" criminal behavior of law enforcement. To prosecute members of the law enforcement family who are predatory in nature and often criminal as well is beyond rare as a result of these inept laws that are state-sponsored.

The final analysis of what we see today is the result of past power grabbing govt. officials. Anyone with sense can see the true reality. The individual, for all practical purposes, is hindered by a lack of resources and the "authorities" are armed with massive funding. They possess the manpower, courts, attorneys, investigators, labs, professional witnesses, facilities, and prisons.

Organized law enforcement and the resources they control and utilize places the individual in dire circumstances. Everyone in society knows this and many are cognizant of this never ending attack on the individual. Also, let's not forget the Constitution and the Bill of Rights "forbid" government intrusions on the individual. Everyone should be aware of the massive shift in govt. powers the past forty years is illegal. Therefore, much of the laws are tainted against the individual insomuch to continue such intrusions and is contrary to the wishes of the population.

You implied current situations are the result of Obama when in fact is what we see is the culmination of years of govt. power and the neglect of American values. Obama is damned regardless of what he says. The real power resides throughout local, state and federal authority officials. With the addition of the Patriot Act and Homeland Security equates of more govt. control over the individual. The Supreme Court will be busy in the future of deciding cases based on this new means to maintain and control of the individual. However, in the meantime, we will see more confrontation between law enforcement, aided with military training and equipment, and selected groups under police purview. And, regardless of what you say, this trend started many years ago and the future will not be different unless the nation addresses this situation and wrest control from the power elite back to the public.

To do otherwise will guarantee further confrontations. This was and is known to many professionals. Regardless of past heated arguments, such people warned the nation of this trend and what it would mean in the future. Unfortunately, many were under the influence of party lines to think through the situation. Propaganda from many sources has rendered the population ineffectual in self-government. Many worthy people have opined this trend will eventually lead to fascism. Some say it already has. Unfortunately, many more citizens unarmed will be victimized and innocent police officers will pay the ultimate price of their noble trade. And, many of us will he horrified by the day's news programming. In other words, many worthy and innocent people will perish as a result.

Personally, I'm so beyond the right vs left, liberal vs conservative argument that even a hint of its involvement is enough to close all conversation on the matter. It was that argument that causes current situations and to further its relevance is counter productive. It's too early to say at this point, but the Dallas shooting rampage has the possible motive to engage in hostile confrontation across the nation. If so, be warned the future is threatened and everyone will suffer as a result of the sins of brothers and sisters.

Do you think it is possible that this shooter believes his people are being murdered by the government? Even if it is not statistically true, this guy believed it was. He is not a religious warrior. He was an Iraq veteran. I don't believe there was any reason to take guns from him because he was not mentally ill.
