Police officer shot during traffic stop in Ballwin; suspect apprehended

(Fox2now.com)-BALLWIN, MO (KTVI)- Authorities are investigating after a police officer was shot during a traffic stop Friday morning in west St. Louis County. It happened shortly before 11 a.m. near the 300 block of New Ballwin Road, near Old Ballwin Road. According to our partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the wound was in the neck.

Hopefully, we all feel that way, but you can only push people so far. At some point, they're going to stop threatening to retaliate, and actually do it. At that point, whether the injustice they feel is perceived or real, no longer matters.

The officer was in the area of Old Roswell Road and Commerce Parkway when police say a passing vehicle fired a shot at the officer’s patrol car. The officer was not hit.

The world has gone insane. Honestly, I can't see the point in shooting at a cop, it's going to end badly. So unless these idiots have a death wish and they want suicide by cop to become a martyr for a cause that doesn't even hold water, I don't get it. They aren't going to change anything except to make the police better equipped with better body armour. Then what are these idiots going to do other than Teflon coat bullets or use warhead tips? This is just MAD on a civil level, it's accelerated stupidity.

BLM has to stop thinking they have a point, if black lives don't matter to black thugs and the black community, why should they matter more? Generally the only time BLM makes a noise is when some dude breaks the law and cops get involved. Sometimes it's warranted as in they guy didn't do anything so BLM has a valid point, but most of the time dude's breaking some law.

Understandably, the cops needed to back of, but they didn't, so they had better start dealing with situations in a more reasonable manner or this will just get crazy, fast.
