I don't think you get the point here.. everyone that with some kind of minimal brain functionality can understand that "guns" or any type of "weapon" is not the root problem...

The problem are "people" who can go beyond that fine line of harming others without regret - we need to tackle this issue.

It's like a doctor - a doctor gives you medicine to remove the symptoms from you but never actually tries to find out the root cause of your sickness... much easier to just prescribe a z-pack and if you don't feel better just come back and I will prescribe some stronger stuff......

Exactly and it needs to start with a President who does NOT add fuel to the fire by reeling off statistics (chosen statistics without others to add context) that embolden part of the nation to kill others. The division he has created is astounding.

I don't think a single person in this thread has said anything about low life thugs. Also, a used Mercedes is pretty freaking cheap. They lose their value super fast because the rich people that buy them treat them as disposable and no sane person wants to pay for the maintenance.

Obama has been a great divider. In the last 8 years race relations in America have been reset to the 1960's. So much for being "progressive".

A Dallas D.A.R.T. officer who had been on the force only a few years. Brent? I didn't get his last name. He was the first one to die. So awful.

Its being poor and its being generationaly poor. Obama changed nothing but made more people poor and blamed guns. The only this you can do when you are poor is fight. Its sick that every human cant see and understand this... Even NRA racist dont want to see it or say it.... Racist dont want to say... its so obvious and yet all these sick minds refuse it.

You can't even make a valid argument without hurling insults. What is your point suppose to be anyways?

If I thought prayers would do any good, then I'd be praying for the dead and injured right now. I was watching this unfold last night.
But early on, I decided to turn off the tv and shut off my computer.

I'm glad I did.

I'm glad they caught the bastards.

As for gun control? Name me a law that would have stopped this.
As for the president? Just another idiot in a suit.
As for the future? it'll only get worse.

Apparently the bad guys were more careful with their IDs than previous shooters have been. No report of passports or other ID being found yet.

It occurred to me that if these people had body armor and the ammo, then this might not have been precipitated by the recent shootings by law enforcement.

This may have been planned days, weeks, months in advance.

Local news is saying there are FOUR possible suspects? Did I hear that right?

What's sad is that police officers were posing for photos with protesters to show how peaceful it was.

Thanks, it will be interesting to see where the spin goes........suspect identities will play a big part in that if you believe this is all a big propaganda event.

Early indications are that they are leaning towards a direct BLM is responsible narrative. All this could change if they have odd sounding names and/or arent from here.

That's because they're not muslims..only muslim terrorists carry ID cards that they leave to be found and passports that survive 3000 degrees heat. If they'd have been ISIS or Al Qaeda, they'd have left a driver's ID, bank card and a copy of their family tree to be found....

Yes, the problem is that people don't want to give up their guns.

Until you tackle the problem of people going beyond the fine line and harming others maybe you they should at least take away there weapons.

What a simplistic view. No point taking away a murderers weapon until you've cured him of being a murderer?
