BOMB threat ?

Confirm anyone ?

Well then we will need to ban bombs. Oh wait, that's not really working for us now is it?

I agree. It's a shame that we place more value on certain humans than others. God says we're all equal. I mourn the same for a homeless person's murder as for a police officer. I'm somewhat in awe at how this particular thread is exploding, consider how many group, and individual murders have occurred in this country over the past 30 days.

Because TX has the most lenient gun laws

TX doesn't even make the top 10.

That plan will backfire.
You don't tell a crowd of people in danger they'll be safer if they didn't carry a gun.

Same s***, different day:

"I am now convinced that there is an underground, national, suicide group bent on creating terror in America. Their purpose is to cause the people to be dissatisfied, to bring race against race, young against old, to cause internal national chaos."
--Louisiana Attorney General William Guste, during the siege on downtown New Orleans by a black militant sniper back on 1-7-73, which left 2 cops dead and 4 wounded, among others.

A sniper in Dallas? WTF? What year is this?

2016 and someone with a grudge against 'cop violence'.

That used 'gun violence' in retaliation.

As Ghandi says.

An Eye for an Eye makes the whole world blind.

Kind of early to jump to these conclusions.

Could be a terrorist, y'know. They would love to take advantage of a situation that might immediately have the police shoot innocent people in retaliation.

Crap! They must have lost one in these last few minutes.

Just heard they might be looking for bombs too. Dallas police chief.

Showing POI to be on the look out for.

11 cops and 1 civi shot. 4 dead.

Well I would have to say that between the sniper fire and bomb threats, this has to have tipped over into terrorist. If they DO find bombs, it's definitely terrorist in nature.

But if there are bombs ... I don't see exactly where this narrative now goes. It's not a perfect gun control one then is it?

Seems like hes a suspect simply because he was open carrying?

I don't understand how something like this can help society in any way.

Do those who are killing cops think that cops will somehow treat suspects better now because of this?

I don't understand what this achieves more than actually creating a worse environment.

It isn't about achieving anything, it's about getting even with "the man" for killing people who didn't deserve it. It's that simple.
Or, in a conspiracy scenario, the CIA in conjunction with Obama's war on legal firearms (just like fast and furious but stepped up a bit), are going to plan C, where they use asset subjects under their control to do this with the hope to eliminate the 2nd a bit faster than things have been going.

It's difficult to know for sure yet, but we do already know for sure the lengths and lethal and illegal extremes the Obama administration will go to, to get rid of legal guns.

I don't know man, that sounds as if you are saying that they would run the risk of a complete breakdown in law and order to achieve the objective of limiting certain types of weapons. That is one hell of a Machiavellian plot to get such a small reward.

Do you really think they could or would do that?

If they could well hell...there truly is no hope at all, is there?

We can wait and see if they invoke some serious new gun laws after this, especially wait and see what Obama does with this, and by that we can see if they would actually do something like this. Remember with fast and furious how they strongly denied knowledge of it which is proven all lies and they actually planned it, and people died for it already, but they still did it anyways, and their denials proved they knew they were guilty for doing it, and that what they did was very wrong, otherwise they would just say they did it, if it was a thing everyone would support them for. But they knew it wouldn't be.

I personally can't understand anyone doing these kinds of things against their fellow Americans, but it has been happening non stop and it isn't going to stop unfortunately.

That's the danger. The ones with the hyper selective hearing and the very strong opinions one way or the other.

It's starting to feel very Boston-ish.

It would be great for some of our Dallas members to weigh in and tell us what they are experiencing. If it's anything like Baton Rouge, they're probably all on Facebook, Twitter and local message boards running down info and rumors.

11th officer shot somewhere else apparently.

Engaged in a shoot-out with a suspect.

I wonder if this is the result of a gang getting together deciding they wanted to f up some cops after the recent shootings.

All the livelong day.

The Eyes of Texas are upon you,

You cannot get away.

Do not think you can escape them

Til Gabriel blows his horn." (For those that aren't familiar with this song, it is song to the tune of 'I've Been Working on the Railroad")
