Do you honestly think Texans would take the behavior of the authorities tamely the way they did in Boston? I'm not so sure, and I'm not as sure the Texas authorities would be as sanguine about trying to force them to comply. Then again, we are talking about Dallas and not some of the more rural areas, too.

It was weird when they arrested the guy in the vest, because it looked like NO cops had their guns drawn when they ordered the guy to walk towards them with his hands up.

Im leaning towards two nutcases who haven't been affiliated ever with anyone in BLM as the most likely culprit. Thats the feeling I get. All indications are the protest and parade were going quite well, including BLM and the police stopping and taking a lot of photos with each other.

I don't understand what this achieves more than actually creating a worse environment.

It isn't about achieving anything, it's about getting even with "the man" for killing people who didn't deserve it. It's that simple.
Or, in a conspiracy scenario, the CIA in conjunction with Obama's war on legal firearms (just like fast and furious but stepped up a bit), are going to plan C, where they use asset subjects under their control to do this with the hope to eliminate the 2nd a bit faster than things have been going.

It's difficult to know for sure yet, but we do already know for sure the lengths and lethal and illegal extremes the Obama administration will go to, to get rid of legal guns.

Who knows... maybe the National Guard is deployed to all metropolitan areas... followed by the UN patrol? These huge climatic events always seem to come about at the turnover of a president.

I didn't speculate. I stated it's not that odd to have gear around here. People are known to wear a vest for specific events. Might sound strange to some, but I would think they're just naive.

Not really. Have you ever been to a protest? You rub shoulders with people you've never seen before in your life.

For all she knew, he was there for the same reason she was. BLM is somewhat militant in their behavior and tactics, so wearing militant garb wouldn't that big a deal either for the more radical ones.

You wouldn't necessarily think anything of it ... until it all goes south.

I have to question how he was a sniper on a building though.
