Lone wolf or not, all the holier-than-thous who said it was a civ can eat crow. My husband had him pegged for military earlier this morning after he got caught up on the overnight news more. Probably should have given the military members more credit for ID'ing this guy as at least military-trained overnight?

No but I have a hard time believing he was alone. I thought it was pretty well established there was another shooter in custody. I'm just saying I'm not going to believe anything a guy who just murdered a bunch of people has to say about accomplices or group affiliation.

Point being all the malarkey about it not possibly having ties to pissed off service members was a steaming pile of head-in-sand. Our military members knew he wasn't an average CoD/GTA/YT-trained joe.

People really need to get over the idea that only white people are racist. This is a hate crime. Plain and simple. Of course, it wont be called that or treated as such. But that is what it is.

A president that cant call islamic terror by its name wont call this a hate crime either. You can buy in to the media bs about white privilege and racism dividing this country, but you would be wrong. The most divisive place in this country is the white house. No one has done more to destroy race relations than obama.

You cant keep trying to raise one group at the expense of another. You cant have a miss black America pageant and say you are against racism. You cant have the BET awards and complain that not enough black people got nominated for Oscars. You cant say black lives matter without implying that white lives don't matter. Life matters. When you put a color on it you make it about race and it should be about life.

I am very sorry that black people get shot by police officers so frequently. And I am very sorry that black people shoot each other even more frequently. Where are the black lives matter people when that is happening? Why aren't their snipers killing the black people who are killing other black people every day in Chicago? Why target only white people? White people aren't the ones in the ghetto neighborhoods shooting the place up every night. Those are the people who live there doing that. If a white cop shoots a black guy, whether he was committing a crime or not, all white people are racist and we should all be shot. When a black guy shoots another black guy, that is white people's fault for not giving that black guy a better job. Or they just blame the gun he used. And people wonder why we cant solve these problems... Its mind boggling...

From 2003 through 2012, law-enforcement officers killed an average of 429 people per year in “legal interventions.” These include a relatively small number of innocent people killed by cops and many more who died due to reasonable use of force.

I know in the past the Army has had issues with extremist groups joining the military for training and then getting out in 4 years to use their new craft for ill intent. This has been across all extremest groups whether gangs, organize crime, white supremacist, Muslim radicals, and many others they all see the Army as a good training ground.

Of course he did. Just like the Black Caucus called out the GOP for not pushing for stricter gun laws. I think they should all living low income housing in Chicago for a week and see how that attitude changes.

I just have to mention in this thread: When you watch the video you see everyone running away except the men & women in blue run forward. To save the lives of the people around them protesting against them. You see them pulling people to safety. I just wanted to mention this.

Neither would I, but at a protest where lots of people are open carrying, there are going to be lots of people in custody at one time or another. It doesn't mean they were involved. It means they were there and had a gun, and were questioned until their stories sorted out.
