To be fair, Comey started by saying that you have to have intent when handling classified info in violation of the law.

I think Mrs Lummis put that to bed with her questions citing that article of law though. Comey's response was wishy washy to me.

I had to pause and so I am a little behind now. I have not heard what you are referring to yet.

I am going back to the very beginning when I say he started by saying that intent was crucial to prosecuting those who mishandle classified information.

ETA: I am on Lummis now. And I thank her for thinking of her constituents. Congress seems to have their heads up their own asses.

I think Gowdy also covered it when he pointed out her attempts to cover herself by lying have been used to show intent, after the fact.
