Is this something we really should consider when talking about voter rights? The progressive/communist liberals have been preaching this for a very long time now when it comes to gun control. I mean really, we are talking about our "national security" here.

For example, lets say ones character. Should someone that goes around stomping and burning the American flag be put on a terrorist watch list? If these people were to be put on a terrorist watch list, should they not be allowed to vote?

Now, what about the psychological disposition. We still continue to hear stories of protesters not in favor of Donald Trump beating his supporters. I never did see Hillary Clinton or President Obama come out and tell these people to stop these actions. Question is, should these people be evaluated for mental issues, and if so, should they be not be allowed to vote because of those issues?

Unless the OP's suggesting we do not vote at all, as bad as Hillary is - (and she's bad), she's still worlds better than the GOP candidate. It's funny (sad) that the only two 'real' candidates are so hated here. If the GOP had almost anyone else running, they'd walk away with it. How bad is Trump when his opponent is so mistrusted, but yet he's getting crushed by her? And every time he opens his mouth, he makes it worse... I think that we're looking too much at WHO is the worst, Hillary or Trump? They are both people with wealth and power. They are ALL corrupt, both sides of the fence and the middle. The real problem is politicians. Forget about taking sides because they are both awful, and they both have their own interests coming first.

I think that this upcoming presidential election should be the catalyst for change. We the people are tired of choosing the lesser of two evils rather than the most competent person for the job. How did it come to this? Politicians. They control the process and will continue to do so until Americans demand change. The changes don't need to be overwhelming. They can be subtle yet significant. It's about leveling the playing field. Give more qualified people an opportunity by putting a cap on spending and limiting the time in which they have to express their own platform. And... removing the electoral college in favor of popular vote. I don't believe that any of these changes require radical modifications to laws or policies.

In my opinion... Hillary will win in the end and I might even have to vote for her to keep Trump out of the White House. Neither of them will bring the change we are wanting see in the USA. Be prepared for more of the same unless we demand change now.
