So for the last 8 years we've heard nothing but criticism that the Obama administration has been "soft" on Russia.

And now cow-towing to what Russia wants in regards to who we elect for president is a good thing? Being soft with Russia and putting a leader in place that Putin wants is a good thing?

The hypocrisy is beyond insane. Since when did what's good for Russia become what's good for the USA?

Russia has their own ulterior motives that aren't in the USA's best interest. Since when did Russia want what's best for the USA?

I don't think they're cow-towing for anyone. If Russia has an opinion that's his right to state it, he's not forcing anyone to do anything, nor is anyone forced to do listen to him.

I also see no hypocrisy in stating an opinion. Who said what's good for Russia is good for America? Not I.

Russia is not USA no you're correct, but i think the fear card has been so overblown and played out, that people are starting to seriously doubt what their Media has been feeding them about Russia. All we're shown is a big Green Screen with a lot of bogus information and we're expected to just jump when the Govt tells us to?

I have my own opinions, and i use my own Intuition. We don't have to agree, that's ok, i really don't mind, and not all of us are going to see eye to eye, and that's ok too.

Vlad Vlad Vlad .....I wonder if that other power (China) will pick sides ? I wonder if Africa will side with the west ? It seems the only ones siding with the west are Washington's Bitches . I have no doubt that if Russia has to do something to make a point it will not be acting alone .The NWO is a Washington plan and it is not going well ....

Africa has become NATO's junior partner since NATO and the African Union began signing cooperation agreements. NATO helps train, support and transport African troops while in return NATO has nearly access to bases all over the continent.

China chose China and always will. They will never stick their neck out for Russia, in fact they happily take advantage of Russia's desperation to keep good terms with them. On the issue of Ukraine and Crimea China never supported Russia and then it went and signed a bunch of trade and defense deals with Ukraine, reviving Ukraine defense industry. When Russia and Turkey had a dust up and China showed up with new trade offers for Turkey. In the former Soviet republics of Central Asia China and those states have broken their trade agreements with Russia and allowed China to become their biggest trade partner. And Russia just has to keep quite about it. Frankly it is no surprise Russia is making nice with Turkey, so it can make back up with NATO because it has learned that the nations it thought were friends are just do not care.

Do you have anything that states he doesnt like Putin? I saw a video of him talking which im trying to find again in which he said it himself.

And, you ruined nothing for me.

Putin has made it very clear he doesn't want war so I'm not certain why you are putting words in his mouth. All he wants is for Russia to defend her sovereignty which if you ask me, is more than fair.
What do you mean you're worried about war with Russia if Shillary is voted in? Didn't you hear that she's all buddy buddy with Russia after peddling her influence to give a RUSSIAN company control over a uranium mine that is directly related to our nuclear stockpile?

Remember, Putin is not a "friend" of the USA. Russia isn't our "friend" despite the Cold War ending and diplomatic ties being warmed.

Well let's say it this way...the Russian government isn't our friend, because I would hate to lump all of them as having the same views as the government.

Just to be fair, because there are many who are our friends and do not like the way they see their government being run.

But who has threatened their sovereignty?

NATO?

The only reason NATO presence is near them is because of his actions in Ukraine. In fact that is when NATO and Russia stopped working together...something they did for many years, so they know that NATO is not offensive in how they work.

Funny how he gave a rat's ass about Ukraine's sovereignty...was that fair?

European Socialism and the U.N. are a bigger threat to the U.S. than Russia. Clearly Putin isn't a good guy, but he has much less effect on my life than the globalist agenda does. Putin isn't pushing the destruction of American sovereignty and borders, Putin isn't pushing socialism on the U.S., Putin isn't the reason our government has grown so corrupt, Putin isn't what we should be worried about, but the globalists want us to believe he is.

True, Putin did make it certain he does not want war. You are right, but at the same time it seems like Putin is being forced into a corner. 'Want' and 'forced' are different. Putin is worried about Russian sovereignty. Bravo ... why do our executives not look out for us here in the US as well?

I wish the USA would only worry about defending OUR sovereignty.

Hillary ... I doubt she gives a flying 'fish' about our US sovereignty. I have not heard her utter that word 'sovereignty' ... unless she is talking about sovereign nations attacking other nations to support international agendas, that are really even very rarely ever associated with direct US (taxpayer) agendas. Hillary is an imperialist globalist, and of her empire, the US is but a small part, the popular views of which she would rather brush under the rug seemingly, than even to acknowledge.

Yeah, Hillary is buddy buddy with Russia after selling North American uranium rights to them. Wtf.

But I think that is the Russian oligarch faction that benefited from the uranium deal. Russian politics are NOT uniform. Putin has his opposition.

So ... Hillary MIGHT also encroach on the Russian sphere of influence further.

Maybe Putin is worried about that, or trying to threaten Hillary.

I have seen sources that show the Russians might have her emails anyway.

Most of all this stuff is conjecture ... but that is why I wanted to start this thread, as my first thread.

It seemed worth it for everyone to talk about, regardless

I am learning too, from your opinions, and further shaping my own.

Thanks for that comment.

It is good for all to see, and worth considering.

Every nation that directly borders or interacts with another nation, in any way shape or form, could potentially threaten the sovereignty of such other nation.

It is a matter of who has influence over whom, due to money, resources, trade, military might, success of their industrial base and tax base (which I personally wish we still had industry in the US like we once did ....). All that stuff matters.

So, trade deals have an impact on sovereignty. Who is negotiating for you, and for your nation? Think. Are they working for you? You are paying them, right?

Pay attention to that feature. The negotiators for all nations are the ones selling us out right now. Just saying. They are not representative.

These people at the top (negotiators of trade deals, etc.) do not work for us currently. Have you ever met any of them? It is probably because there are only a few hundred to a few thousand of these people at the top making the deals that the billions of the rest of us must abide by, AND THEY ARE NOT CURRENTLY REPRESENTATIVE OF US!!!

By my definition of 'us' I mean just an average working taxpaying person on this planet, sex, politics, religion, and all other factors irrelevant. I am not nor will I ever have any control of this world. Thankfully maybe .... because why should anyone control others per se?

This current situation with Russia and the US is the same great game as it has always been played ... except that now seemingly technology has greatly reduced the impact of any one single citizen of this planet. Technology has also increased the number of people who can be killed everywhere in a short amount of time, as it has increased the value of propaganda, and control of information.

The average people have lost the balance. It needs to be re-balanced.

True that. That quote is sage

Yeah, we must realize all 'average' people are equal, and in their own local realms ... they must have average influence. *bam the sound of the gavel*

Putin seems to be one of the only leaders in the world who talks openly and honestly.
One thing is for sure - never ever go to war with Russia. Many have learned the hard way that is a bad idea.
