THIS is our National March: And should be our national anthem....

I've always thought this would be the better anthem - does it not make you want to march???

I played the piccolo part on a record we made back in 1980.....

this march of Sousa's was invented in 1896....

I love our anthem. But even though I am Puerto Rican Native 100% I sooooo admire the anthem.
I Always burst into tears when they say "that our flag was still there". Always.
People see it and think I'm a total p***y.
I totally feel it when it is sung right. I was born on the fourth of July. And totally *against my wishes* celebrate with the whole country.

I delight in your charm.... But this time you tore me to pieces....

Hi, I played it the whole way through. Brought back memories of the early 60's when I went to an obscure circus in Victoria Aussie. There was a small band and they played this when the elephants came on and did their thing to the music.

The clowns came on during the piccolo part I think pretending to sweep up after the jumbos.

Don't see those sort of circuses anymore.
