This is ridiculous. Do you do drug deals on FBI.com? The focus of this is on a segment of society. LEAVE THEM ALONE. Too many people today pushing their, what? Opinion? Belief? .... on others.

A gay Christian looking for a date or a potential marriage interest is hardly equivalent to someone doing a "drug deal."

Didn't say it was. I said it was as ridiculous as making a drug deal on a federal justice server. Let's be real here. This is political BS. Christian gays can meet anywhere. This is a strongarm. I support LGBT rights but I get my ass in the air when people start to get ridiculous.

LOL, interesting choice of words in context.

I understand your point to some degree. I personally don't see it as a strong-arm tactic. It's not really a matter of whether gay Christians can find a date somewhere else, it's a matter of being able to utilize a publicly offered service that they qualify for in every stated criteria.

We all have our take on things. I respect yours, while I disagree with it in this context.

There's never a right time to discriminate against someone unfairly because of arbitrary qualities.

Sorry. Calling BS on this one. There are MANY avenues for people to find love. That's the Net. Pissing in someone's pool because you can is getting old. Keep it up. You'll lose people that have been supporters forever.

You're free to call BS on whatever you wish of course. Sure there are many avenues to find love. I certainly wouldn't use a site like CHristian Mingle to do so. But if someone wants to, that meets the criteria to do so, they should be able to.

I really detest the subtle threat that gets thrown up in these questions. "Don't insist on too much equal treatment before the laws or we won't support you anymore."

If we lose a supporter because we're standing up for ourselves, I'm not sure they were really a supporter in the first place. IMO.

"Neocon" is a rampant fake PC term so I am diametrically opposed to that logic entirely.
Only ENGLISH will work.

No. As I pointed out. The FBI site is public. Look for drugs there and get back to me with the results.

This is a pissing contest and nothing more. That doesn't impress me much.... as a fellow Canadian has said.

I would tend to agree on a personal level, but the fact is it's an illegal thing to do in California and people are pleading for an exemption.

That would be like a business not allowing online pizza deliveries to Christians based on their "LGBT beliefs" and getting away with it.

Remember that it can work both ways with this law; there's just only one side breaking it.

I think some Christians get mad at the idea of LGBT people calling themselves Christian is ...

They feel that the LGBT people they hate are taking something away from them that "belongs" to them.

I mean, the site is "Christian" mingle. So, its for Christians. If a dude happens to be gay and also attends Christian church, what's the problem, he isn't allowed on the website? He's "Christian" isn't he?

He follows the teachings of Jesus ... which as I pointed out don't really specifically say anything in particular about being gay. Jesus himself never had a disparaging word about it. And isn't being like Jesus what a Christian is? .. Being "Christ-like"? Being a better/good person and treating others how you want to be treated?

You're living proof that neocon is a very appropriate term.

If you think it's any more fake and PC than the terms "snowflake, libtard, etc." then you've made it clear.

I know this isn't directed to me but yes. Why not? Christ was accepting.

That said even gay folks can believe in a "spirit in the sky".

Flame on.

Not according to some who are going to continue to follow their faith.
I am not God, I am ME, so I will say they are in conflict with scripture.
I can't say who they are I WANT seclusion from such ideas and I will have it if that is MY choice.
The Constitution is all about that.

Yes, I saw your false equivalency earlier and responded to it.

There are all kinds of pissing contests. I don't think standing up for one's rights qualifies.

Nothing false about what I said. Ya just didn't like it. Bottom line IMO is keep your stuff to yourself, let others do the same. Basically DBAD. Don't Be A Douche.

I would never want to be at a Klan cookout. Why would I insinuate myself into them to choose the menu?

Ok, so here's the thing, there IS scriptural support for bigotry against homosexuals, Paul refers to homosexuality as an abomination- which is the worst wording that can be used for sin.

The gospel of Christ however, tells a story that no good deed get's one to heaven, because we have all sinned the sacrifice for sin is his blood. So, the only way to the father is through the son, this means that anyone who believes in Christ's sacrifice can be considered christian and going to heaven.

However, there are other doctrines that give Christians the ability to separate themselves from those who have turned there hearts from god, and the wording that Paul uses to describe homosexuality would give credence for Christians to separate themselves from that lifestyle.

So what am I saying here? Well, I am saying that Christianity has scriptural support for the way it treats homosexuality, I am not defending it, in fact I reject it. Now, depending on the interpretation and some more liberal understandings and denominations, they can open the door for homosexuality, well, so if this group is one of the more fundamental interpretations of the bible, then it would be forcing them to go against what they believe in by making them include a homosexuals option.

Also, even further if that isn't who they intended to target their sales towards, than you are essentially forcing a companies hand, which perhaps may drive away business and is not good in a professional sense, so that's my argument and understanding.

Looks like I bowed out at the right time

1. Business
2. Not a church
3. State anti-discrimination law.

Now we play "Loop de Loop" - - - useless circular nonsense.

I just don't do circular.
