I have found, finally, the clip how I remember it and the same clip, changed. The clip how I remember it is older.

You're welcome. To me it was always IS. At some point it changed to WAS in all clips and entire movies- except this straggler here.

I believe that other time-lines exist. According to quantum physics, it makes sense. If this is actually a movie from another time-line that says "is" instead of "was" and the "is" version was never made in this time-line, then it can be the proof that quantum physicists are looking for, that other time-lines are real.

1: I believe in the Mandela Effect.

2: Gump says this line at least twice in the film (as I recall)

3: It is incredibly easy to manipulate the audio for one part of speech is vs. was (and they sound somewhat similar to boot)

Conclusion: No proof of anything. In fact, putting "proof" in any thread title or webvid is an instant red flag haha

I really think either the audio was manipulated, or we could just be looking at an alternate take of the scene. Also bear in mind that famous movie quotes often get mangled to make them more recognizable at a glance

For example, Darth Vader's exact words aren't, "Luke, I am your father."

No "proof" of anything here.

Other scenes, "is" is said.

The phrase "life IS like a box of chocolates" probably got embedded in the mond, and mixed I to the scene where, if you watched the movie several time like I have, he says "mom always said life WAS like a box of chocolates...

It seems like most people heard it as a "is" not a "was" just do a google image search for "box of chocolates" quote.
This does not mean anything, I just find it interesting.

I wonder what the original novel says?

Of course, later on in the movie, when Mama is dying and the scene is quite impactful, we do get this

You're going to have to figure that out for yourself. Life is a box of chocolates, Forrest. You never know what you're going to get.

Mama always had a way of explaining things so I could understand them.

I would vote for conflation rather than ME.

I have been quizzing friends & family over the last few weeks over some of those claims in the Mandela effect , they now think i am crazier than normal as none have ever heard of this .

But my mother agrees with me on Mirror Mirror on the wall & it turns out that it was the first picture we both saw as children at the picture house , and both of us remember Billy Graham passing 30 + years ago .

i helped a religious friend of mine cut his lawn on Saturday ,I questioned him about the bible quote The Lion Shall or the wolf shall we both agree on the lion .

i was good at Geography but i may have to deny it due to South America and Australia and New Zealand not being where i remember ,and i have only just noticed that after reading about it on these forums

I believe there really is something changing some aspects of reality. It's really sad because whatever it is it's trying to seem playful and make you curious but it is actually a really cruel and evil being.

However, the past doesn't. People's memories of of the past on the other hand...
