Do Trump supporters believe the crap they use to justify supporting him?

I can't believe I actually agree with one of your posts.
That must be a first.

I think things like trade, jobs, and immigration are what people like about him.

His clothing line is manufactured in Mexico. Why doesn't he bring those jobs back here? Oh, wait, he's a flagrant hypocrite and his supporters don't mind.

Plus the fact that he can talk without being fully scripted via a teleprompter.

He uses a teleprompter when he needs to sound intelligent.

He's also one of the few (if only) billionaires to run for office.

How can a billionaire possibly relate to the other 99%?

People must see that as a strong quality in a leader (running successful businesses and negotiating trade deals, etc).

He has filed for bankruptcy five times. He lost money running a casino in New Jersey! He is a failure as a businessman, a compulsive liar, and a sexist, racist hate monger who single handedly destroyed an entire football league. And yet, people support this small fingered vulgarian. Why?

What do You think the limit should be? Mr. Trump has had 5 bankruptcies so where do We draw the line? I keep hearing that He has a great business sense and isn't part of 'the establishment' Well, wouldn't the guy who owns the paint store and provides for His family and hasn't filed for bankruptcy actually be a "better businessman"?
Prior to running for President, Mr. Trump donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to The Clinton Cabal and other places (greased the skids) wouldn't that classify as being part of 'The Establishment'?
Does Mr. Trump have more $$$ now or did He have more $$$ back before He started? I seriously doubt that either You nor I could get away with filing bankruptcy more than once..

I wasn't aware of any issues with workers from Poland, I was referring to the hotel in South Fl. that is run by Romanians so yet another issue. Here are some links re: Romanian workers

www.nytimes.com...

www.redstate.com...

•Note• Please don't construe this as some sort of endorsement for Ms. Clinton. As far as I'm concerned She should be sitting in a cell in Leavenworth Federal Prison and certainly NOT running for POTUS. Now for folks who support Her, would excuse/alibi that She "lost" $6B USD when She was the Head of State and nothing was done, more folks were concerned of e-mails and using a private server and the $6B slipped into thin air, then the Saud Roi donated $2B USD into The Clinton Fraudation and again, nothing.

Filed for bankruptcy. He filed for protection and it was 4, not 5 times. They were Chapter 11 which does not have to mean the company has no money. It means there are issues and they are going to try to protect themselves from losing it. The purpose is to save the company.

1 - He filed because of the Taj Mahal Casino. He reorganized and lost half his stake. Nothing changed for the business and it is still there and has his name on it.

2- He filed and again, to pay off his debts, gave up 49% of his stake. Building is still there and has his name on it.

3- He filed for the same Casino, Taj, 20 years after the first filing. He still owns 27% and is the largest shareholder.

4 - He filed for Trump entertainment. He reduced his ownership to 10%. Still around.

So, you see, if you would simply research you would see that he filed bankruptcy and saved the businesses. Otherwise, they would have been liquidated, everyone loses their jobs and it is a loss.

HE STILL OWNS a large share of these companies....

The USFL? Hahahaha...he was an owner and they tried to move to the fall. It did not work. This did not kill the league. League was dead before he bought the Generals.

Employed women in key management positions in the 80's now one had. He was a pioneer.
A liar? Opinion...
A hate monger? He has dated black women, married immigrants and his step son is Jewish as is his daughter now.

Small fingers? Well, I could care but it is childish.

If he knew how to run the businesses, they would not need to be "saved," would they?

1 - He filed because of the Taj Mahal Casino. He reorganized and lost half his stake. Nothing changed for the business and it is still there and has his name on it.

You're right, it still does have his name on it:

I guess we're getting a preview of his labor policies.

2- He filed and again, to pay off his debts, gave up 49% of his stake. Building is still there and has his name on it.

In other words, he continued to mismanage it.

3- He filed for the same Casino, Taj, 20 years after the first filing. He still owns 27% and is the largest shareholder.

How many times does he need to declare bankruptcy before he learns how to make a business profitable?

4 - He filed for Trump entertainment. He reduced his ownership to 10%. Still around.

How can a casino not be profitable?

So, you see, if you would simply research you would see that he filed bankruptcy and saved the businesses. Otherwise, they would have been liquidated, everyone loses their jobs and it is a loss.

Or else, they get bought out by someone who knows how to run a business and the employees are happier.

HE STILL OWNS THESE COMPANIES....

You mean he still has his name on them. Other people own more of them than he does.

The USFL? Hahahaha...he was an owner and they tried to move to the fall. It did not work. This did not kill the league. League was dead before he bought the Generals.

So investing in a dying league proves his business acumen how?

Well ... if I was American ... I wouldn't care what Donald Trump says.

I'd just vote for him to annoy people like you.

That's about 50% of the reason why I voted to leave EU. To annoy the noisy, agree-or-die 'mainstream opinion' holders. If the world burns along the way, well I'm fine with that as long as you're burning too!

This type of mentality is why we can't have anything good. Sometimes I wish the old and bitter losers could just shut up and let people with dreams alone instead of being negative about it and actually work against people with dreams. Just like the guy that says ''it will fail'' and then make sure that it does. It's a losers, disgusting, regressive, selfish, stupid, destructive mentality and there is absolutely nothing to be proud about it.

I guess what you're telling me is that what I'm doing is working. Be annoyed. Be very annoyed!

The issue with the walkout and unions has gone on for awhile though. I mean, if I was the union i was definitely use Trump as a platform since it is free airtime.

By the way, Trump does not 'own' the Taj anymore. It is owned by Icahn Enterprises. Also, the hotel must suck because 2 other owners besides Trump have filed for bankruptcy.

Also, read this article...

abcnews.go.com...

The main issue in the strike is the restoration of health insurance and pension benefits that the casino's previous owners — after Trump but before Icahn— got a bankruptcy court judge to do away with in 2014

Again, what they are protesting has NOTHING to do with Trumps labor practices .

When you've created hundreds of companies and thousands of jobs, I think 4-5 chapter 11s is a pretty damn good resume.

How many companies have you created? How many jobs have you created?

Now, how many times have you failed without ever producing any beneficial?

Why does it matter what people believe?

The debate should be on the platform(s) of the people running for office.

What I believe and why is really no ones goddamned business unless I choose to share it.

You don't agree with Trumps platform? Okay.

Don't vote for him.

How does creating jobs in China (Trump ties), Mexico (Trump suits), and Scotland (Trump golf course) help workers in the United States?

Yup. That is me. I do not believe, but share the facts presented to me. Its called rational thinking. Unfortunate to you leftist ass wipes, some folks here still have brains left, few rounds in a barrel, and will to keep the land in our own hands.

I recon watching documentary such as Cartel Land might be an eye opener. With a twist. That is about reality. Reality which just cannot even be captured and shown in a movie, because each and every one of us watching the show would just run out and puke the whole place wet. Its bad, and its time something is done about it.

And what comes to extremism - UK was firm and decisive against IRA. Germany agains Red Brigades. Poland against communists. You fight opression and murderers by not giving in, but in firm stance against their will. This same will we need to show against those who want to trespass our cause today in form of extremism of islamic kind.

Hillary has no will of her own. She is a money addicted miserable miscreature. She bows to the highest bidder, all of them. Bernie was not enough of a man to stand against her, and tell to her right on the face what he thought of her. That is all you leftist can come up with. A finger waving side-note, and a money laundering all lying thief of a granny. That is you leftists managed to pull together for these elections.

So, what was your question again?

You can't present facts to these groups. They will throw a temper tantrum and claim "racism, xenophobia, sexism, bigot, misogynist, liar, and everything else their Twitter/Facebook feeds tell them spew. Fact checking be damned.

I'd imagine that Trump supporters believe these things just as much as Sanders supporters believe a free 4 year degree helps everyone, or as much as Clinton supporters believe she has actual qualifications, besides a vagina. There's nothing good about this election cycle.

Why is it that whenever someone is challenged to point out one thing about Trump that makes him worthy of a vote, all they can do is talk about Hillary Clinton?

She has had practical experience in government, having served in Congress and as Secretary of State. She has espoused a hard line towards Russian aggression. What are Trump's qualifications?

I believe SJW is legitimate as it's a proper term and one that's self described. Traitor in certain contexts, for instance any american citizen who radicalizes and attacks as some islamist is a traitor, the other terms I don't use, what else do you have?

Your right and I'm wrong of course

I'd a agree with that.

She has practical experience in setting up a self serving criminal enterprise. Like I said in another thread, she is a octopus with far too many corrupt tentacles. She is a modern day Cthulu, almost the epitome of evil. She'd be a good stand-in as the antichrist candidate.

Cheers - Dave
