BLM Toronto Halts Pride Parade, Forces Director to Sign Document Agreeing to Group's Demands.

BLM was acutally the Honorary group this year, what a very undignified way of recepricating to that honor by extorting their demands.

The Toronto Police have always been a very large part of the parade for several years and alot of pride members are always glad they are there, the have stated on many occasions they feel safer with the police there.

Besides the police have a pretty good relationship with the people of Toronto, BLM arrived here not long ago and has slowly begun simmering the pot ever since. Just go away please, BLM, there is hardly any racism here, not that I see or hear but i feel some shifts in the wind here, stirred by our own politicians and media.

well it was signed under duress so after the parade was done i would had recinded the honor and called them on their BS in a press conference about them basically blackmailing them.

it is an oligarchy operations group . . . designed to create division, chaos, hate, anger, conflict, violence etc. etc.

as the oligarchy moves closer and closer to utterly destroying our Nation and culture down to ashes.

The blacks are merely "useful idiots" like all the other sub-groups the oligarchy has co-opted for their destructive goals and strategies.

I was thinking similarly; do these kids seriously think they have a durable contract when it was signed under duress in full view of tens of thousands of people?

There is a faction of partisan mouthpieces on here who are ready to believe that the LGBT community is part of some radical SJW nonsense simply because they veer right themselves, and never considered that the majority of the gay community abhors BLM.

The real underlying statement here, for many, is that BLM and Pride is the same thing.

That's the real sadness here. Also, "why would Toronto need a Pride event" ... betrays the tunnel-vision that many view this topic through.

At this point in the evolution of LGBT equality and racial equality, however, the way that BLM did this, basically spitting on the hand of goodwill that Toronto Pride had extended to them, merits allowing their group to act and promote itself on its own in the future, rather than being given such a stage in which to abuse kind regard.

Surely the BLM doesn't have tens or hundreds of thousands of real activists. A couple thousand at most?
My point being they seem to be everywhere there is event they can pre-empt and get publicity for being asses in public.
That kind of travel isn't cheap, someone is paying the bills as I sincerely doubt many if any of these BLM protesters have the kind of finances necessary to be all over the US and even Canada.

If their source of funding were to dry up I suspect the BLM would vanish quicker than a six pack at a frat party.

BLM is a joke, they aren't fighting for anything close to equality. I can't help but think that a movement that had good intentions to start with has been hijacked by extremists who's only interest is to make themselves feel superior to other people.

The same thing happened to feminism already.

Actually...that's been done. Pride organisers promised a forum in the time to come, but readily admitted that he only signed to get the parade back in gear and that all he's promised is discussion of the issues. Same as I'd have done.
The whole episode looks BLM look really #ty.
