I'm not understanding what exactly? You did twist scripture, you said the path was narrow. That's not what Jesus said, He said the gate was straight and narrow was the way.

I'm not on any other way or gate but Jesus Christ. He is the gate and way to the Father.

Correct. Probably 1 in 1000 people are saved, sadly.

Which is why I said that you have to throw out that fact when operating inside of its world.

Other than almost everything? It would be faster to say what you are understanding. Nothing. I.M.E. this is the case with you 99.9999% of the time

No, I didn't twist, don't, twist scripture. I unwind it.

He is every bit the Rock Christ said he was.

More like a stone actually...

one that could be rolled away easily... quite movable

Says who exactly? I must have missed the boat when it was time to board the "Misunderstand the role of Peter."

Is it a nice boat?

Even though it could have meant certain death and it was not what Jesus wanted, Peter was so loyal (and apparently a skilled swordsman) that he was ready to battle the officers seeking to arrest Jesus.

" Get behind me Satan." Jesus exclaims. Not that Peter was Satan or Satanic, but Jesus knew that Satan was taking advantage of Peter's loyalty and trying to corrupt Peter. It's his job and Jesus told him to cease doing it for the moment and he listened (Satan).

Peter was a fisherman...

Likely not a skilled swordsman... at the very least not compared to the roman solders who came to take him in the garden

I just hope it is not carrying the same people that used to sail the sinking "Paul is great" ship that just has too many holes to plug up.

Because they bring the anti Petrine sentiments you seem to possess.

I guess you didn't notice I was being humorous when I said that. I find it unlikely myself but he was able to slice off an ear.

That takes a sharp sword and serious skill.

Is that how i seem?

Im just saying that peter had his point of weakness...

which would be something that 99% of people would likely do

Why accuse when i only question?

Not only do you twist scripture you twist your own words
Why should anyone listen to anything you say
One minute it's a harsh rebuttal then you are challenged and you then say it's a joke taken out of context

I didn't accuse, just hoped that it wasn't the case. I know that Peter had moments of weakness like slicing of someone's ear (even though his intentions were honorable).

But I am saying that the go to example of weakness is misunderstood and is actually a show of strength and loyalty.

If you can't understand how Jesus telling Peter this is going to happen, you will deny me, is equal to telling him to do it I don't know what else to say.

His denial is like not snitching. He kept his mouth shut because he was supposed to.

Aaron understands the play on words Jesus made in the Greek:

"You art Peter (petras) and on this rock (petros) I will build my church."

Petras = a little stone/pebble
Petros = a very large rock/boulder

"Or basically Jesus said "you are a tiny little pebble, but on this large boulder I will build my church" (paraphrase)

The Catholics twisted it up and said the Peter was the rock, no not at all. Lol. It was the statement that Peter made that was the foundation rock Jesus would build His church upon, that He was the Christ, the Son of God.

You are of no consequence to me and only a source of occasional humor. There is nothing you could say that would make me think you are more than a follower of followers of the devil who just doesn't know it.
