So last month Zuckerburg went on a rant about how bad Trump is for wanting to build a wall. Do as I say, not as I do. The hypocrisy is rife...... from both sides.

Neighbors Outraged After Facebook CEO Zuckerburg Builds Wall Around Hawaii Property

No. It’s not along the Mexican border, like the one fellow billionaire and GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump is pushing.

Zuckerburg is erecting a wall that borders his 700-acre property in Kilauea, Kauai. And while it won’t stem a tide of immigrants, it does obstruct the ocean view and the sea breeze according to some of the people who live there.

Perhaps the community should try contacting Zuckerberg on another ‘wall’ — one the CEO probably knows better then anyone because he built it, too.

Facebook.

This is not the same, its his property, he can do whatever he wants.

Why build a wall anyway? Just put up decent security cameras and teams. I think the USA and Zuckerburg both could do it without a physical wall. Which is just an eyesore and a joke. All walls eventually lose their purpose, from The Great Wall of China to the Berlin wall. The Gaza Strip, SK/NK demilitarized zone, are all signs of oppression or "security" depending on your viewpoint. Sorry for the rant. How about a moat?

Zuckerburg: All your sea breeze and views are belong to me!

I think a moat is a great idea, why don't people ever build moats anymore?

Same old story from the liberals. You don't need a wall or guns to protect you or your family. But I'm more important than you so I get a wall and armed security. Now shut up and go vote Democrat.

Not sure, i would assume its just as easy to get over it if you really wanted too while being much easier to maintain. Not to mention easier to look at.

Exactly we can build a wall around our country. The concept is the same.

Fine. Then he shouldn't criticize Trump for saying he wants to build a wall for fear of offending illegal immigrants. MZ has no trouble offending his neighbors though.

lol, no its not. Trump is speaking for America when he talks about his wall (I am an American and I do not agree).

Who is Zuckerburg speaking for? Himself, his property.

They're both assholes, what's your point?

I can see how anyone would criticize Trump for his stupid remarks, however, if you want to build a fence or wall around your property, that's a whole different ball game.

He is allowed to do both.

However, if he ever ran for president and decided to build a wall keeping Mexicans out...then you have a point.

This. So much this. These people do not exist in the same reality as most.

Why?

Well first of all, it's Mark Zuckerburg. If he is having a pool party, I would imagine that those attending are going to be of the relatively famous variety, and don't want to be photographed in their bathing suits by perverts, weirdos, and other professional photojournalists. Also, if he wants to be able to walk around his home and garden with his manhood flapping in the breeze, then he should be able to do that, without having to worry about offending someone, and without the risk of being easily surveilled from positions around his property. If he wants to lay down with a woman next to his koi fish pond, or get it on in his pool, the chances are that he is not going to want to have to concern himself with what the neighbours think of his behaviour.

Also, it is his personal property, and frankly, if we are really living in a world where even Zuckerburg cannot afford some bloody privacy, then we really are all pretty much doomed.

I dont care what he does. I am sure however that celebrities have lived in the same public eye forever and had to put up with it or find a house that is more secluded. Either way this is a nonstory

I bet it wont be nearly as beautiful as Trumps wall, but for tax purposes, it will probably cost about the same.

He wants privacy? Move to a gated community with like-minded individuals. But he has no problem offending neighbors who say the wall spoils the natural environment of the place. He's quick to criticize Trump who only talks about a concept of a wall, then MZ builds one. Sure, it's his property and he is entitled to build one, but he's still a f'n liberal hypocrite as far as I'm concerned.
