Ummm...a few lines I glued together...


Storm song


If truth be known I think you are the rain
A fall like tears that cleanse the inner pain
In paraphrase I think that you might be
A torrent sent to wet the heart of me

Also in astonishment I learn
You are the core of all that I discern
For every thought I think or wisdom find
Your gentled love the framework of my mind

I think of you though never having seen
Or in your presence only in thought been
Through this warmth and wonder’s sure refrain
Confirm for me in truth you are the rain

Alive within then as my senses meld
I linger in the warmth as if I'm held
I drink your essence in through every pore
Drown myself and thirst for even more
