The good thing about Knob Creek is that it's smooth enough and tasty enough that it goes down so quickly that you really don't give a crap what you say, you just say it.

If this is going to be a thread about people's fave American whiskey, then Maker's Mark is the one I opt for.
Lovely stuff. Though I still favour Irish and for an everyday tipple, I haven't found anything I like better than Famous Grouse.

Personally, I don't think I was Beamed until the mid 70s.
Whiskey drinking takes a while to get used to. Beer and wine, not so much.

Sounds like a conspiracy to me. Not so much one world government as one world whiskey!

Yeah, that's true. Back in the early 90s I used to mix 100 proof Old Grandad with coke. Took a good 10 more years before I could appreciate a nice glass of chilled straight whiskey. I had to check, and guess what? Jim Beam makes Old Grandad too...it's a conspiracy!!

You know what pisses me off?
Ever since that 70s show chick started selling JB on TV, the price has been going up. And up.

I guess it worked. Dammit.

May have to go to Early Times. My Dad drank it. Good enough for Dad...

I hope they keep her away from Knob Creek. At $38 a bottle I only get it twice a year. I would hate to cut back to once a year.
