I fell upon the earthen mound
With a shovel in my one hand,
I dug a hole into the underground
In search of wishes granted of a wishing well.

Instead I came upon a staircase,
Leading to where the spirits and fairies dwell,
A bag of pennies in my other hand,
I crossed the veil into Apple Land.

A sense of calm and peace I felt
As I soaked in the inner sunshine
And remembered that where the Kind Folk dwelt
May only be entered through gratitude...
...of Love's Eternal Divine.

Thank you for reading.
I listened to a favorite song,

And felt some inspiration thoughts coming through.

a reply to: valiant Thanks Valiant!
I love the ballroom song and scene from the Labyrinth! Its is very soothing.
Sometimes watching Labyrinth or listening to the soundtrack is just what the doctor ordered.
So glad to see you post and hope life is being kind on you in this wacky world.😊

a reply to: EnigmaAgent Thank you, I really do appreciate a compliment to things I write because often times writing in fiction is the only way to express what I am going through and I never know exactly how it will be received or understood with my limited education in grammar and writing.
